Because I live in Turkey, we unfortunately dont have some brands, such as; rose inc, makeup by mario, kaleidos, lys, kosas. So I got a few things by inspiring from you, Fenty Amber, Huda Beauty Bronzer, Makeup Forever HD skin, Huda Beauty stick blush in the Rebel Red shade, Fenty skin tint, Rare beauty mascara. All of them have been my favess. Also I had NYX concealer before and that has been my favorite of all times, also MAC stack mascara, I have seen they are your fav too. I have bought and LOVE a few of these because of your recommendations - the Makeup Forever foundation, the Huda Beauty blush sticks and the Fenty Match stix and the Huda Beauty lipliner in Pinky Brown (,if you're going to mention it. I'm still at the blush section). I have to get the Makeup By Mario skin enhancer next. I love that your recommendations are predictable. It means that you actually love them.

I gotta say - at one time I was super into the TH-cam community. But over the past few years I’ve fallen off. Still love makeup but just don’t bother keeping up with the channels, except yours! I've been using lansinoh on my lips every night before bed since nursing my first child! I always wonder why people are paying so much for lip masks. My kids now use it too and a tube lasts forever!

Great favorites! Didn't realize the About Face Fluid loose Glitters were that type of formula that sticks will try them. Natasha Denona's Dream,Oden's Eye Christmas and Christmas Eve and Adept's Face palettes were my favorites in 2022.

I use nipple cream on my winter chapped hands. And every other chapped skin honestly. I learned about it when I had a baby but figured I’d try it on my hands one day. Worked like a charm.

Every time I watch Julia's end of the year favorites, I always have to remind myself that I'm watching for formulas and not colors bc I have golden dark skin with brown eyes
Before 3 weeks I bought the guerlain l essential glow foundation. I was rewatching some of your old videos and I have to admit it immediately became one of my top 3 foundations (the other 2 are nars sheer glow and the armani luminous silk). I'm wearing it almost everyday. I have combo to oily acne prone skin and its so beautiful. It's my skin but more even, hydrated just gorgeous

I have a question about the Mario enhancer, everyone says it’s so much lighter and sheerer that you can’t go overboard and it looks so natural, which has always made me wonder, couldn’t you just buy a less expensive cream bronzer/contour in a lighter color than you normally use? I may not be making sense, but if anyone has an answer I’d appreciate it. I want to buy it but curious if it’s worth it. After I bought that Elf powder I realize it’s better than the CT airbrush powder! I don’t mind spending more if the product is worth it but just curious 🤷🏻♀️. Love ya Julia, your personality and your content makes you so enjoyable and educational to watch! I enjoy every video ♥️. Oh and I bought that CT eyeshadow palette off of your recommendation and I love it
I have the Mario skin enhancer and I think the difference is the formula itself is sheerer and contains less pigment imo. So if you just bought another cream bronzer in a lighter shade, there’s a good chance that it will still be more pigmented than the Mario one, resulting in a different effect than the Mario one can give since the Mario contains less pigment and a slight luminosity which allows it to blend your skin a bit better. I think of it as a low pigment luminous cream product and tend it to use it on lighter makeup days myself or when I feel extra pale and want to add general color to my face that doesn’t look like it was purposely placed in certain parts if that makes sense. It just has a seamless, light coverage finish that looks more natural (i.e. not as contoured) than some other typical more pigmented bronzers can so it fits in my routine for certain days. I hope that’s helpful!
