Thanks...great video....I have an ipad and would love to be able to hook it up to my looper and use garageband...and bring a piano into my loops. Is this possible, and if YES, can you explain how? Thanks!!!!
do you think the RC 30 is a big advantage over the RC 3. I like the stop pedal. I'd like to see some rockabilly with stop time looped. ie. Eddie Cochran C'mon Everyboy great lesson
Very cool! Very very cool! I am just getting started with looping and this was such an amazing video to help me try and lay something down! What song will you do next?
But you can not stop single looo on of like ed sheren did. Example if i just want to hear a sound for bass and drums. The rc 30 cannot brings the sound i wanted.
Love it. I'm a hardcore loooper, with an RC-20 in my smaller mono rig and an RC-30 in my larger stereo rig, and as in your demo here I use only reverb & delay as efx. But even I don't tend to lay down as many layers as you do. Do you really put down all these tracks live? My main concern with looping (I'm solo instrumental) is boring the audience while recording a rhythm tracks, or even a long single track. Thanks!
Well this pedal has a few effects built in but I don't really use these effects actually. For me, it's a 2-track looper that I use every night for my performances. :)
I'd like to use this pedal in an unconventional way. I'd like to load ambient 'soundscapes' onto it, which don't have particular notes or rhythms (Eg. whale song or space noises), and stop/start them at certain parts of live songs. But I'm unable to find the answer to these two questions: 1) You can load WAV files into the memory slots from your computer. If I load a saved soundscape, and then record some temporary loops over the top of it, if I don't SAVE those new loops, can I revert back to just the soundscape in the memory slot? For instance, if I move up or down a memory slot without pressing the save button, the new, temporary loops will be forgotten, won't they? 2) If I have memory slot 10 loaded, and have both loops playing, can I switch to memory slot 11 and start playing those loops (the slot 10 loops will stop playing, of course). Thanks.
From what I see you want to have the ability to control the AMBIENT SOUNDSCAPES and your LOOPS separately. Although this looper has 2 channels, I'm afraid that once you skip out of a memory slot, all your existing loops will be deleted. I'd suggest you to get a different playback system for this usage. Usually the ambient sounds can be played from your phone that is connected to a mixer with an 1/8" cable. That way, you can play the ambient sounds AND play your loops simultaneously without even having to change the memory slot at all. Hope this helps!
@@aochengsu It does, thanks. You helped me decide not to go with the RC30 (135€), and instead buy a Digitech JamMan Stereo (100€). Cheaper pedal, and more suited for what I wanted it for. Cheers!
Man I loved your video! Now I want a looper. Haha I was wondering if you could answer something for me. Can I record a loop with the rc-30 and stop the recording by pressing stop, so it won't playback immediately? I'd love to record the intro chord progression of my song and play it back only at the bridge. I hope that makes sense. Hahah thank you, man!!
love ed sheeran, im trying to get better at looping . thanks for your help!
Keep practicing!

The inversions of the chords sound great, have you got a tutorial on those?
super video, what kind of guitar strap you use ?? looks soft and nice.
I dig it, you have a straight forward simplicity. You have inspired me to create my own...
Awesome, thank you. Now where in the garage did I put my looper?
Get it out and start looping! It's addictive.

P.S. I have to record tracks live because I have a policy of not pre-recording anything, because I just don't like using pre-recorded material.
How many effects does this pedal apart from the main looping function, do you have a video showing its versatility?
Well this pedal has a few effects built in but I don't really use these effects actually. For me, it's a 2-track looper that I use every night for my performances. :)
This is so sick man thanks for the video
Thank you! Hope you can do it too :)
Please show how to loop Tash Sultana's music?

Hello teacher, you rock!!
Thank you teacher !!! You rock too!!!
Great man! One question, how do you record the looping to the pc, just with a microphone or you plug it to a interface?
From my Loop pedal I output into a DI Box which outputs into my Interface :)
AoCheng Su thanks!!!!
Thankusomuch❤️🙏🏻
