I love my Mantis ! It is now my everyday bag. I have had it over a couple of years now. For dressier occasions, I use it as an insert in my Longchamps tote bag . The Mantis hugs the body so comfortably whether it is worn as a sling or waist pack. I actually use the little open pouch at the back for my hand sanitizer and place my phone either in the front pouch or inside the main compartment. I have had several people ask me what type of bag I am carrying.
I have the Mantis 2 and it’s a solid bag. I used to use an Aer day sling 2 but it was too long and I wanted something with less wide of straps. The mantis 2 fills that purpose easily.

I think you definitely could! It could get tricky depending if you're storing a larger lens, but you might be better off with the 2L anyway for peace of mind and additional space for other gear. - Ed

Little correction, the mantis 1 is 1.5 L and the mantis 2 is 2.5 L

That 1L looks bigger than similar bags like the Patagonia Mini. Could you fit a Fuji X100 series in the 1 or would you suggest going up to the 2?
