This is awesome content since I am trying to prep for pj pipeline. I don't have development in my area without driving 2hrs away. I am training alone, prior service, and 35 years old. Just going to keep on going and make it work.
Building your lifestyle before going to basic is good advice for any person heading to BMT. lower to drop caffeine, be on your feet, increase activity. start waking up early...
I still feel like SR is the most unique pipeline in Air Force Special Warfare, mainly because the mission set feels unique, and it also sounds more interesting than CCT and PJ.
Trent's Arrogance has inspired me to join SR. Currently speaking with a recruiter and getting the ball moving. Watching 1R really helped me pull the trigger on joining the force. Excited to be part of the team and hope to meet you all one day!
This job and some of the HUMINT Intel jobs in the services are the closest most will ever get to Mission Impossible status. But I still remember reading the SR job description after the SOWT change and "if I could turn back time" by Cher started playing in my head. Fantastic interview and topics covered. Thank you
Encouraging episode. I’m kinda in the same boat. I’m 27, Tired of working a 9-5 (in my case, 3 or 4 twelve-hour shifts). SR would be my prime choice but I might go NG SF to 19th SFG because my wife isn’t keen on moving out of California. It’s just hard leaving a $150k job knowing I gotta somehow provide for someone else if I did make that change
I thought SR sounded like a cool career field but my recruiter literally told me no and to pick CCT or PJ cause SR probably won’t have anything to do in a few years. Makes me sad :(
@@OnesReadyAbout to go through MEPS in 2 weeks! Planning on pursuing the PJ route but I’m totally open to any of the career fields in SW, definitely wanna meet some of the guys that have actually worked the jobs before making a 100% decision. Estimated ship date in November provided everything goes smoothly at MEPS, might end up being classmate’s with today’s guest!
20:07 So A on deployment is actually busy tucking everyone in for the night, with a goodnight kiss on the forehead. That's the mental picture I got. xD
I have cleared in MEPS. Everything besides needing to get a Medical Document from the VA (I am prior service). I have been waiting 6 months for this document. Please, if anyone has any tips on getting this process sped up, let me know. I have tried calling many many places.
Im getting ready to join airforce and I been preparing for PJ I been told it’s mentally tough i dont understand that part but will a “never give up” mindset do well?

He had so many good movies to choose from as inspiration and he chose Battle: Los Angeles. My lord in Heaven, I've heard it all now.
But also I will say that this was a great and very human episode. Good luck to the SR candidate.
Great vid
Thank you!
Thank you for your service

Beautiful BEAUTIFUL episode.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽💪🏽⚡️
A picture of a cone for his image would have also been funny 😂
C'mon yall don't do Peaches like that in the intro, turned my guy into John Cena smh
You mean the recruiter was actually there when he went in ? SHOCKED
Is there an update from the guy In the pipeline who talked to Aaron a while ago? He still in?
@@Sweetleaf2001 that’s a great question we will reach out! I believe he graduated. - A
@@OnesReady that would be awesome to have him back on

Why did you decide to cross over to Air Force Spec W rather than undertaking National Guard 18 series?
Im getting ready to join airforce and I been preparing for PJ
I been told it’s mentally tough i dont understand that part but will a “never give up” mindset do well?
its required more than anything because in Maintenace, sf, specwar and the like. you will be tested many times throughout
is there a onesready discord?
Not Ones Ready, but we are on the AFSW Discord.

Is SR doing anything right now?
Right this second? -T
If I have collection accounts will I be able to get my top secret or even be accepted?
depending on amount.. pay it off
JAKE ZWEIG NEEDS TO LOCK IN. HE IS NOT HIM
You got weak veins brother, I got a hoist/cardomax pumping straight into my heart through tubes like it’s Bane Venom.
I wish baiting Elk was as easy as it is to bait Aaron into politics
