Come along as Josh climbs the vertigo-inducing knife-edge ridge to the top and descends this gnarly terrain with fellow skiers and riders from Solitude Mountain Resort.

+Snowboard Carves - It can take anywhere from 15 min to an hour, depending on how quick you are and how far down the ridge you're going. Unfortunately, it hasn't been open at all this season. Hopefully soon.
How long is the hike?
is it normal to lean back while skiing like that? I do it as well and people say I need to lean forward more, and this is the first time ive seen others ski like me
Yes, it's "normal" but... not the most effective technique. Many of the skiers in this video are amateurs who've had no formal instruction or direction, hence the leaning back. Ideally the hands stay forward, shins stay in constant contact with the front of the boot and the center of mass stays over the middle of the feet. Much of the helmet cam footage is skied with a more forward stance, but it's harder to see that. Watch for a video later this year with better technique once Solitude gets Fantasy Ridge open for the season :)

Super weird. It's probably because of the music selection. We generally try to stay away from copyrighted music because of this. The music owners won't allow it to play on mobile either :( Perhaps we'll try to upload the video to Vimeo and share that link for those who can't view it. Btw, saw your Fantasy vid as well. Haven't skied 22 yet, but looks super fun. Hopefully we'll see you up there.
