It actually does fit to a degree considering the song is about two opposing forces deciding to settle a long standing conflict, and this fight is about Roxas and sora fighting to settle the conflict sora has within himself since he woke up.

Actually I'd say the lyrics fit strangely well.
Sora: "when your time has come and gone, I'll be the one to carry on, and you can throw me to the wolves, cause I am undefeatable"
Sora only becomes playable in this game after roxas rejoins him and "disappears", his time came and went. The wolves representing the organisation,
Roxas: "I'm hanging on to the other side, I won't give up till the end of me, I'm what you get when the stars collide, now face it you're just an enemy"
Roxas throughout the whole game was still holding on inside of Sora, which was shown multiple times(crying when Sora leaves twilight town for the first time, showing up when Sora gets his blue crystal orb from the munny pouch), and he clearly shows some resentment toward Sora considering it was joining with him that made Roxas lose his life in Twilight Town.

The only usage of dodge slash and I quote the only usage for dodge slash is.... There is no usage for it its completely useless I put it once ACCIDENTALLY trying to do a critical mode no damage lingering will and I got destroyed in the first combo because the delay made him break the combo
