As someone who has a ton of real tattoos this was hilarious. You can technically "rub off" a real tattoo because as it heals it flakes off. Real tattoos and large ones would take hours to finish and you don't usually get 3 big ones in one day. It would also hurt a ton more if someone was hitting them This is such a funny prank

As someone who has tattoos, I’d have a hard time believing my partner if they tried to pull this kind of a prank. Large and detailed tattoos usually take a day to do. To do 3 of them in one day is highly NOT recommended. I think even people with highest pain thresholds wouldn’t do it. Also depending on the artist’s rates, they definitely would each cost over $2,000. The most detailed a tattoo, the more hours it requires and hence more expensive. There is also a healing period to consider, where the skin around the tattoo is red, and the skin gets textured for the first few days.
Kibo’s reaction as always was very cute. I love that his first concern was the consequences of Lucas’s decision. Such a rational response. That was adorable. I personally have a tattoo list that I built when I was 16; like ideas and I didn’t start the process until I was 26. Essentially, I slept on the ideas for 10 years to make sure I’m committed to them. Some died down and some remained, so when I knew what I’m committed to, on my 26th birthday, I went and got my first tattoo. Now I have 21, only 4 of which are big tattoos. The reason why I mention this is because most people with tattoos agree that tattoo are addictive - some people enjoy the process, some just want more. I personally have a list to go through.
So you want to make sure you are not only committed to the design but also the location of it. You can’t just cut and paste if you regret the location. You should also think about the locations because there might be areas you’ll never tattoo, so you have to be fair in terms of the size of your tattoos for the areas you will tattoo, because you’ll eventually run out of a space. For me, there are areas I will never tattoo, because despite the stigma around tattoo dying down slowly, I wouldn’t be comfortable with those areas, such as neck, face, fingers and I’ll probably also never get a sleeve tattoo. So I know my canvas is limited to certain areas only. These are all things to consider.
Should you two or anyone else reading this decide to actually go ahead and get a tattoo, I hope you sit down and think things through so you don’t regret it later on. Because it doesn’t only cost a lot to get the tattoo, it costs a lot to get it removed too. And remember that the aftercare is really important in how well your tattoo heals. Take the process seriously. Also, research tattoo shops to make sure you go to a reputable one, and one that has been cleared by the appropriate government body. If it doesn’t have that license, don’t get your tattoo there.
But back to the video. I really liked Kibo’s response. It was very endearing. I didn’t sense judgment, which is what usually happens when couples do this prank. That was refreshing. He was just worried about Lucas regretting his decision and mad that he couldn’t go too.
Lucas’s “the cat is eating fish” comment cracked me up.
