So recently (about a month or 2) i have gotten into kpop like ITS FUCKING AWESOME and this was all due to BIGBANG and their COMEBACK and now i am a HUGE V.I.P. I've always known bout kpop, listened to some songs and all for years but I never considered myself an actual FAN.
Now one thing I encountered as a kpop fan from non kpopers, is the INFAMOUS IGNORANT : "But...you don't even know what they're saying...." *EXTREME EYEROLL AND FACEPALM*
I usually reply with "EVER HEARD OF SUBTITLES OR TRANSLATION???" or "WHY DO YOU DANCE TO PSY THEN???" and that's as good as i can get.
This type of ignorance REALLY GETS TO ME and is EXTREMELY ANNOYING. SO PLEASE ALL KPOP FANS, HERE IS WHAT I NEED YOU GUYS FOR: GIVE ME SOME GREAT COMEBACKS TO THESE IGNORANT ASS COMMENTS (especially the one i mentioned before) THAT CAN SHUT EM UP!! I'm horrible at combacks so plz help...i really need this..... T^T

I used to get teased for liking kpop, but then I introduced it to my friends and kpop spread like a virus...if you have friends that are girls, introduce them to exo, friends that are boys, introduce them to big bang or monsta x maybe?
Maia Eng Ughhh unfortunately it's not that easy. I got one of my friends into it, the rest of my friend group like it and all but they aren't necessarily "obsessed" (I'm guilty XD).
I've put on kpop before out loud and have attempted at explaining to those whose attention it grabbed...but before even they let me finish they get all on "hating mode". Like YOU DIDN'T EVEN LET ME FINISH! STOP WITH YOUR JUDGEMENTAL ASSES WHEN YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW SHIT!
Also just tell them to mind their own business and be really open about your interests. It doesn't matter if you can understand something to enjoy it.
