I love how Phillip makes eye contact with you and not the camera when he's speaking about the porcelain. I have enjoyed your vlogs for a while now, but have found refuge in catching up while at work at a stressful job. Thank you for all your hard work on each of these vlogs!
I actually knew what Amaury was describing, biscuit joining. It's quite refined. The men do have some slightly raunchy comments and it's funny. Love watching you cook Stephanie.
Being married to a carpenter for over 33 years I knew what Amaury was talking about when he said he would join the wood with biscuits. What ever Amaury makes seems to turn out just beautiful.
How fantastic that you’ve found a mate that shares similar hobbies and loves! I’m envious! And I LOVE the idea of sharing this gorgeous French château with so many friends and family. What an idyllic life! Your heart seems so kind and joyful; enjoy everything you’ve manifested! 💕💗🍾
"Can we use it tonight?" I love the way you both love so many of the same things and find joy in porcelain. Love love love it. You two are so sweet. The set is beautiful.
So happy to hear Isabel’s surgery was a success, I fear I’ll have to have the same thing eventually in my rt. eye as my vision is failing in that eye. Happy for Amaury to get his wood, I understand completely, my father had 2000 rough cut board feet of stunning Honduran mahogany shipped all the way to Nova Scotia Canada . Some was for working on the interior of his sailboat, some to trade for teak for decking and some to sell . A small problem though was the local fine wood purveyors couldn’t suggest a price to charge as they said it was priceless here. Dad lovingly cut and planed it himself and it was amazing. It’s great to see so much progress on all the projects and the garden start to come alive for spring, we have over a foot of snow a lot which fell today, big fluffy flakes falling strait down because there was no wind. So pretty out tonight.🙋🏼♀️🥰
Yes i love it. Amaury saw the design in the cup and used a woodworking terminology for it as he really liked it. Then he made a joke to cover up his interest. 🤣❤🌺🌹🥂

You can also do brussel sprouts in the oven....cut in half, rubbed in olive oil , salt and peppered (carrots and potatoes as well) at 400 degrees for ten minutes or less, everybody’s oven in different , sometimes 8 minutes each side works as well.....same process for kale chips 8 minutes or till crisp.
I do mine roasted on a sheet pan like this, but I don’t like too much crunch left and I like them nice and brown, so I tend to do 15-17 mins at 400! This is an excellent way to roast most any veggies. I’ve done squash like this, though harder squash like butternut sometimes takes much longer.

Yes I’m happy for Isabelle as well. My mother lost her left eye at 24 from an explosion in a munitions factory where she worked for the WWII war effort. And unfortunately she lost her vision in her other eye from a blood clot 18 months after my father died. My mother then ended up in a nursing home within 3 months after living fully independently. It was so cruel as my mother cared for my father for 30 or so years through his ill health. Life can be cruel so it’s important to live each day to its fullest extent.

Another HIT video!!! THANK YOU so much for sharing all the fun and exciting places an adventures you've all been up too. You are truly a inspiring women Stephanie!!!
… most enjoyable watching is that, not being as grand a chateau as some of the others, it feels lively and busy around the place, and is so homely… especially the kitchen, and work can be observed being performed and the changes are impressive to see without nonsense talk, talk, talk.
Thinking of your mother, I had four eye surgeries in 7months last year, a macular hole repair in each eye and the resulting need for two cataract surgeries. However all is well now, But seeing your mother with her eye shield on brought it back. Eye surgery these days is a miracle and so successful. Yes the strain of having work done on your only good eye takes a toll. I was so happy to hear of her success and will keep her in my prayers for healing quickly. If empathy counts for anything, she has my full amount! I was very happy to see you back, I felt like I had come home myself. Hugs to everyone and looking forward to more general home activities, conversation and projects.
I'm so happy you're home safe and sound. I've missed seeing you at home. I've been going through bursts of binge watching from the beginning. Thank you for sharing you shining light. 🌹 🤗
A week ago I would have said I'm so jealous of anyone living in Europe and being able to travel to beautiful places as it's a lot easier than to travel to Europe from US. But this week my heart goes out to Ukraine 🇺🇦 and anyone who has family or friends in Ukraine. No one deserves to go through the pain of having to leave their homeland in times of war...

Loved the table setting you both created with candles, flowers , napkins and Spode salad servers... Stephanie , I am sure it made your meal taste better
😉Yes, a beautiful table setting definitely aids in both digestion & meal enjoyment 🍽️.
📖 Philip finding that book does seem like ✝️divine providence.
💜Barbara Cartland, but audio books are so distracting. 🛣️On a road trip, I had to 🛑 listening👂to Steve Martin reading his memoir bcos I needed to pay more attention to driving🤣.
Love to drive, esp. long distant🚘. My BFF is a better 🗺️navigator & 📻DJ. Our only rule is the driver has entertainment Veto power. Listening to stand-up comedy is great, but 🆕 music can put me right to sleep😴💤. Nothing like a 🎤sing-a-long to keep one alert.

Yes! There’s no place like home or Brussel sprouts straight from the garden! 😊
Glad to know Isabel's surgery was successful. Best wishes to her. And happy that all are safely back at LaLande.
Another lovely vlog. Great to see projects getting started. Love that you share so much with us ❣️
The flowers are so beautiful Marie is soooo talented !
So glad to hear your mother's surgery went well and you're home. Cheers to Sabine & Dave for holding down the chateau.
Sabine went to Venice.🤣❤🌺🌹🥂
All the worlds love to Isabelle!
It’s so delightful to see the pear trees budding and the peahens thriving 💕
What has happened to Nate’s apartment? Is it still being built?
I'm so happy you're home safe and sound. I've missed seeing you at home. I've been going through bursts of binge watching from the beginning. Thank you for sharing you shining light. 🌹 🤗

A week ago I would have said I'm so jealous of anyone living in Europe and being able to travel to beautiful places as it's a lot easier than to travel to Europe from US. But this week my heart goes out to Ukraine 🇺🇦 and anyone who has family or friends in Ukraine. No one deserves to go through the pain of having to leave their homeland in times of war...
❤️❤️❤️
Nothing better than a Chateau Diary video with lots of double entendre from Amaury and Dan.
