I don’t see what’s so psychopath about putting your socks and shoes on “the proper way” of sock, shoe, sock, shoe. That is the way I do it every single time because in my brain if I put my sock on and then put my foot down on the floor then my sock is going to pick up dirt or hair off the floor which then will get transferred into my shoe and I’ll be walking around with dirt and hair inside my shoe all day and who wants to have that thought in the back of their head? Not me. Sorry if being clean makes me a psychopath. Love your art I watch your video every week.
Here's the part I don't understand. Do you keep your socks and shoes in the same place? My socks are in my bedroom, my shoes are at the door. I don't walk around with socks in my hand until I put my shoes on, you know? Not judging, do things in whatever order you want 😂
@@Angelofnine I tend to walk around barefoot unless I’m going out of the house so when it’s time to leave I bring my socks with me when I grab my shoes and then sit in the chair closest to the front door to put them on and when I get home the shoes get right off onto the mat followed by the socks thrown on top of them, Unless it’s winter then I do sock, slipper, sock, slipper. There was even a point in my life when I had young children where I had indoor shoes and out door shoes but thats a whole different story time.
I also do this, walk with my socks to where my shoes are. The alternative being to sit down twice - once in the bedroom to put on socks and then again at the door for shoes? Well... all I'm seeing here is there's more than one way to do it. 😅
I’m so happy you finally got the ohuhu markers! Any time you’d talk about your troubles with markers I was like screaming in my head “GET THE OHUHU’s!!!!!” Those are my ride or die art supplies.. I love the color range and how well they blend. Also I’m a sock sock shoe shoe person… and at first I was confused, but no.. not triggering to see that 😂 But I AM one of those strange people that don’t care if people stare at my fashion choices. Especially because 90% of the comments are from pretty kind people. When you stop listening the 10% of the negative comments; you realize it’s your own thoughts trying to eat at you. 😂😂 I used to drive my ex crazy bc I don't understand the difference between right and left socks, so I just throw them on whatever foot. When I was in daycare they used to take us on field trips to places like Taco Bell 😂 and I still remember getting to go in the back and making our own tacos.
Sock memory! I don't notice a difference, but people swear by it! Oh my gosh, okay THAT'S the kind of field trip that I would have adored as a kid (and absolutely still today).😂
I do that as well with socks and shoes cuz why put more work in lifting my leg with bad knees if i don't have to? Didn't know there was a right way. And i take my service dog with me everywhere and she provides medical and emotional support. So agree on the animals at every medical office especially dentists My friend gifted me the 120 set (which ironically is the set you now have) for Christmas last year and I love them. I haven't had any problems with fading. They have stepped up my art game. I used to use prismacolor from my art school supplies, until everyone was using ohuhu so i was influenced into wanting them. I love them so much and use them on every portrait or card i draw.

I just want to say f*** the strangers that stare at you, if you wore that. Anyone that does, is honestly just jealous and insecure and they wish they had the guts to just do what they want to do and be who they want to be. I honestly think there would so many people who would compliment you on it too. I had one job where we got to spend the day at the zoo. It was so freaking awesome. The job sucked, but has any other job let me look at cute animals all day? No! I was so happy and I did wish we had more work field trips. I am seriously drinking a smoothie as I watch this video. I was a little nervous with the thumbnail, if I would want to finish😂I am grossed out by mushrooms and would agree on most of this food.

It does feel like it's been forever.But you deserved the break. You must be so heartbroken by what happend to all of your hard work! All those beautiful pages! At least, since you do TH-cam, you can look back on how beautiful they looked once. But I'd be in tears. It's not so much the quality, it's the medium. Alcohol marker is just not lightfast and going higher end doesn't really make them more lightfast. When Copic was pretty much the only thing you could get, illustrators would scan in their work and throw out the original because of the fading issue. There are some lightfast watercolor markers, but they react with mod podge (smear) which is eh if you want to use pencil on top. I only use alcohol marker when I'm messing around just practicing or in a coloring book. It's a fast, clean medium that will not smear with mod podge and works well with pencil on top, but unpredictable fading is such a massive dealbreaker. In my prompt books, I stick with colored pencils, watercolor, paint pen and acrylic paint. Not ideal, but my prompt books are my pride and joy. I do milk first so it can get a little warmer. If you add cereal first, you have to pour ice cold milk on top. I always wear socks unless it's like the dog days of summer because I get cold easily. So I get into my new socks before I get into my shoes. I have a ballgown. I wore it once for photoshoots and never again :(. I'm NEVER ready for autumn! Maybe I would be if I didn't know that it is followed by the worst season of all--ice cold, dark, depressing winter.

The food one was really fun 😂 I actually love mushrooms, but I love mushrooms with tofu. My yucky smoothie would be pickles, mayonnaise, any type of fish, hard boiled eggs and bananas. I don't even hate bananas. I love bananas😅 But bananas take over the flavor of all foods. The only way I like bananas are in banana form, straight from the peel.

I hope this doesn't come across wrong but for the "want vs wear" page I love how you drew it true to you. I mean curves and all. It would of been very easy to draw yourself skinny or whatever but you embrace your size and I love that. As a bigger person myself I really loved seeing the love. Lol, the sock shoe thing was on our radio station this week 😂. I agree, I love dressing up and that is what I love about about having a 3 year old, they can dress like that everyday and people think it's cute. She went to work with me yesterday for a Pre-birthday 🍾 and she had a red ballgown with a crown and her boots, she's a boots girl. That is what she wanted to wear and I get to live my dream through her.

I’m highly disorganized my socks and shoes are rarely in the same room together. So in the morning I put my socks on first and then my shoes because I have to wander around the house for a good 5 minutes to find my shoes. My dog follows me around and I can practically hear him telling me to hurry up so we can go to the park.
If i use ohuhu, will i magically become a great artist like you? ❤ answer, no. I already use them and lets just say it is unlikely they would do a collab with me 😂 but they got their moneys worth, and then some, on you! I would even drink that smoothie, based only on your color use!

I can definitely focus a little on it in the next video, but a quick version here... sandwiching the colors works best for me. In the blend zone, I'll apply the lighter color first, then the darker, then the light again. Also, you have to move fast while the markers are still wet.
There was an episode of all in the family from the seventies that had the same sock/show argument if you can find that episode Ashley you will see how not wrong you are. The argument for a sick/show was strong

It is sad, but luckily nothing I was too attached to had real issues. I think maybe this list explains why vegetarianism didn't really stick for me. Picky on my veggies and a lot of protein alternatives I disliked as well. 😔 I remember living off veggie burgers and hot dogs. Hahaha.

Yo its hilarious how triggered I got with the sock shoe part lolol. Not sure how or why I got so triggered so I had to try it out, and I have to say... its not so bad. Not gonna covert or anything, but for sure a lot less triggered after trying lol I think my favorite prompt was the smoothy even tho I LOVE me some salmon lol. Well done as always!
Hahaha. Props to you for being open to trying it another way! I actually had salmon once that was FIIIRE. My ex's super rich parents took us to this ridiculous sushi place and ordered this plate with maybe 8 little 1x1 squares of salmon. The marinade and cook on it had it tasting like beef! I smashed that plate and two more and at the end found out each plate was $40 😲

I don’t see what’s so psychopath about putting your socks and shoes on “the proper way” of sock, shoe, sock, shoe. That is the way I do it every single time because in my brain if I put my sock on and then put my foot down on the floor then my sock is going to pick up dirt or hair off the floor which then will get transferred into my shoe and I’ll be walking around with dirt and hair inside my shoe all day and who wants to have that thought in the back of their head? Not me. Sorry if being clean makes me a psychopath.

@@Angelofnine I tend to walk around barefoot unless I’m going out of the house so when it’s time to leave I bring my socks with me when I grab my shoes and then sit in the chair closest to the front door to put them on and when I get home the shoes get right off onto the mat followed by the socks thrown on top of them, Unless it’s winter then I do sock, slipper, sock, slipper. There was even a point in my life when I had young children where I had indoor shoes and out door shoes but thats a whole different story time.
I also do this, walk with my socks to where my shoes are. The alternative being to sit down twice - once in the bedroom to put on socks and then again at the door for shoes? Well... all I'm seeing here is there's more than one way to do it. 😅

The food one is so funny! I hate mayo, mushrooms, Brussel sprouts, fish, mint chocolate chip ice cream (really mint anything) and cauliflower too! Although I have to add all chocolate to my list. 😂😂 I used to drive my ex crazy bc I don't understand the difference between right and left socks, so I just throw them on whatever foot.
When I was in daycare they used to take us on field trips to places like Taco Bell 😂 and I still remember getting to go in the back and making our own tacos.
Sock memory! I don't notice a difference, but people swear by it! Oh my gosh, okay THAT'S the kind of field trip that I would have adored as a kid (and absolutely still today).😂

My friend gifted me the 120 set (which ironically is the set you now have) for Christmas last year and I love them. I haven't had any problems with fading. They have stepped up my art game. I used to use prismacolor from my art school supplies, until everyone was using ohuhu so i was influenced into wanting them. I love them so much and use them on every portrait or card i draw.
Same! And with my weight too. Getting a foot all the way up is hard enough. To do it over and over... well now I'm exercising!🤣

I had one job where we got to spend the day at the zoo. It was so freaking awesome. The job sucked, but has any other job let me look at cute animals all day? No! I was so happy and I did wish we had more work field trips.

The smoothie page is my favorite.
It does feel like it's been forever.But you deserved the break.
You must be so heartbroken by what happend to all of your hard work! All those beautiful pages! At least, since you do TH-cam, you can look back on how beautiful they looked once. But I'd be in tears.
It's not so much the quality, it's the medium. Alcohol marker is just not lightfast and going higher end doesn't really make them more lightfast. When Copic was pretty much the only thing you could get, illustrators would scan in their work and throw out the original because of the fading issue. There are some lightfast watercolor markers, but they react with mod podge (smear) which is eh if you want to use pencil on top. I only use alcohol marker when I'm messing around just practicing or in a coloring book. It's a fast, clean medium that will not smear with mod podge and works well with pencil on top, but unpredictable fading is such a massive dealbreaker. In my prompt books, I stick with colored pencils, watercolor, paint pen and acrylic paint. Not ideal, but my prompt books are my pride and joy.
I do milk first so it can get a little warmer. If you add cereal first, you have to pour ice cold milk on top. I always wear socks unless it's like the dog days of summer because I get cold easily. So I get into my new socks before I get into my shoes.
I have a ballgown. I wore it once for photoshoots and never again :(.
I'm NEVER ready for autumn! Maybe I would be if I didn't know that it is followed by the worst season of all--ice cold, dark, depressing winter.
I have heard that all alcohol markers will fade, but I'm TH-cam friends with a lot of Ohuhu users that have art that's several months old with no change. The set I've been using is definitely a lower quality with how fast it's happening, but of course I will be updating as we go on these Ohuhus, plus the final flip through will be a nice visual comparison. Very sad to see it disappear at all. I'll probably start doing more watercolor on the pieces I feel most passionate about.
Hahaha. I don't really hate winter (except for traffic in the snow), so that's ok for me.

I actually love mushrooms, but I love mushrooms with tofu.
My yucky smoothie would be pickles, mayonnaise, any type of fish, hard boiled eggs and bananas. I don't even hate bananas. I love bananas😅 But bananas take over the flavor of all foods. The only way I like bananas are in banana form, straight from the peel.

I hope this doesn't come across wrong but for the "want vs wear" page I love how you drew it true to you. I mean curves and all. It would of been very easy to draw yourself skinny or whatever but you embrace your size and I love that. As a bigger person myself I really loved seeing the love. Hope that didn't come across as wierd or anything.

Lol, the sock shoe thing was on our radio station this week 😂. I agree, I love dressing up and that is what I love about about having a 3 year old, they can dress like that everyday and people think it's cute. She went to work with me yesterday for a Pre-birthday 🍾 and she had a red ballgown with a crown and her boots, she's a boots girl. That is what she wanted to wear and I get to live my dream through her.

I’m highly disorganized my socks and shoes are rarely in the same room together. So in the morning I put my socks on first and then my shoes because I have to wander around the house for a good 5 minutes to find my shoes. My dog follows me around and I can practically hear him telling me to hurry up so we can go to the park.

I can definitely focus a little on it in the next video, but a quick version here... sandwiching the colors works best for me. In the blend zone, I'll apply the lighter color first, then the darker, then the light again. Also, you have to move fast while the markers are still wet.
There was an episode of all in the family from the seventies that had the same sock/show argument if you can find that episode Ashley you will see how not wrong you are. The argument for a sick/show was strong

Great fashions page. 99% of the time I am wearing my “art-ing clothes” (old t-shirt, leggings or sweat pants, and my sweater. )… if I’m at home, I’m wearing slippers… if I’m outside the house, I’m wearing sneakers, (with a few exceptions - like my rain boots, or slip on shoes for brief outdoor activities - such as putting the garbage out on garbage day.

It is sad, but luckily nothing I was too attached to had real issues. I think maybe this list explains why vegetarianism didn't really stick for me. Picky on my veggies and a lot of protein alternatives I disliked as well. 😔 I remember living off veggie burgers and hot dogs. Hahaha.

Yo its hilarious how triggered I got with the sock shoe part lolol. Not sure how or why I got so triggered so I had to try it out, and I have to say... its not so bad. Hahaha. Props to you for being open to trying it another way! I actually had salmon once that was FIIIRE. My ex's super rich parents took us to this ridiculous sushi place and ordered this plate with maybe 8 little 1x1 squares of salmon. The marinade and cook on it had it tasting like beef! I smashed that plate and two more and at the end found out each plate was $40 😲
