Awwwh little pigeon.. Brilliant bless her her heart leaps higher over every jump and leaps higher again when the jumps get bigger, you can tell you are a real team and for doing cross country some horses can sort of tend to not tuck there back legs up when it comes to show jumping, your a great rider and it's really funny depending on what side joe is on I take it, she turns on ear to him and the other forward. I'm not only saying this for flattery but I genuinely think u should be in the Olympics. You will probably get another essay soon from me lol but thanks for replying to me and it's great to c u ride, as unfortunately I can't anymore, so thank u for video
Thank you Steff - essays are always welcome :) Sorry to hear you cannot ride any more. I will keep sharing my rides for you while I can! I think Pigeon quite likes Joe... I hadn't noticed the ear flicks until you mentioned it! xx
+katie brown... I think she's OK and Joe was happy with how she jumped. He does like her to get quite close to the fence to encourage a more athletic jump UP rather that a more flat and forward jump! Perhaps that's why she looks a bit different? Thanks for watching and commenting :) x
Thank you so so much! First competition of the season this weekend so all being well we will have a show jump and cross country course video (or three - I'm doing the pairs as well as individual/team) to share on Monday! :D x
Morgan has finally convinced me to join WORC so i may be seeing you around! :) Just a bit worried that i won't be up to scratch as my horse Fern is 7 but about 5 in her head (very, very green mare) But loves to jump and do cross country. Just have to wait and see.
This is fab news! Look forward to meeting you soon. Fern can come and gain experience at some of the training clinics and schooling sessions hopefully. No need to worry about being up to scratch - very few of us (including me and Pige) are particularly competitive! But we like to get out and have some fun :-) x
Your videos always make me want to jump again, then I remember it terrifies me lol. I love your videos and your horse so much! Her nose is cute, I never noticed it's lighter than the rest of her :3
Thanks Taimar (I missed you at the dressage yesterday - hope you are yours are well). I think Joe was making a point with that last dog leg... If you have the canter right the height of the fence is no bother! xx
Haha I know I took Nemo jumping instead yesterday as I'm doing the BRC combined training for the team!! Are you going? Are you planning on going XC anywhere soon would be good to go out with Pidge sometimes!! Hahaha totally right well she looked fab! x
Taimar Gilbert I think the combined training will really suit Nemo! I was going but I think our team have dropped out now because someone's flu vacs were not in date. But I am ready for that Friday night phone call, lol :) We have the eventers challenge qualifier on Sunday too - I'm doing the 90 team/individual and the 90 pairs. A gang of us from the club have been heading out xc schooling a couple of times. I'll let you know if we go again and you can come with :) x
I got one from play.com and another (with 35% off) from Groupon... just have a google. There are lots of different types and lots of different places selling them now. Thanks for watching :)
ChibiChunks It's where the second fence is off to the left or right after the first (if that makes sense). So you have to land and turn to the next jump! Thanks for watching! :0
Ooooh! Okay thank you!! That's what I thought but I wasn't 100% sure, in America (or at least at my barn) we call them bending lines :) Dog leg sounds way cooler though lol
Pigeon jumps so great when the jumps get bigger! Can see she loves jumping
She's a bit off her jumping at the mo but hopefully she'll be back on form after a wee rest :(
Such a bond between you two, and you are so encouraging to your horse! It's great!

A Horse Called Pigeon
Yeah hopefully! :) Thanks, putting form in postbox tomorrow. :)
A Horse Called Pigeon
Put will also have to get brakes sorted for XC may have to invest in a pelham as she's unstoppable cross country. xD
Your videos always make me want to jump again, then I remember it terrifies me lol. I love your videos and your horse so much! Her nose is cute, I never noticed it's lighter than the rest of her :3
Thank you Delaney.... I find competitive dressage terrifying, lol! :-)
Haha that's strange! Everyone says dressage is boring and easy! To each their own :)
It is neither boring nor easy!
Woop woop go team pigde ! well done hun!! Super jump at the end x

lovely jumps
Thank you! She jumps so much better when she's not excited about being in a group! ;-)
Where did you get your camera? I want to record my lessons
I got one from play.com and another (with 35% off) from Groupon... just have a google. There are lots of different types and lots of different places selling them now. Thanks for watching :)
what's a dog leg?

ChibiChunks Usually Joe tells me I have cheated if I curve the line or jump the fence on an angle... we have to practise sharp corners apparently :)
Is pigeon ok?? She seemed to be jumping a bit funny and not herself??
:) That was amazing :D
Thank you so much Ashley! I was worried the edit was a bit rushed :)
OMG :o I know you!! I'm a friend of Madilyne Wilson! A girl who used to stable there!!! Haha I have ridden there :o
Hahaha! Small world... shame Madilyne isn't around any more. She was getting on so well with Westy! Thanks for watching :0)
My horse/pony looks like pigeon but smaller because she's 14.00h
I love horse
She just seemed to be knocking more fences than usual, but as long as she is ok, don't want anything to be wrong with your superstar.
my horse is named acer
Is Joe the horse?
