If anyone has read about Tree Laws, they'd know the owner could have sued for the destruction of the trees, taking the guy to small claims court IN ADDITION to the arrest.

Story 1: Uggh.... hippies like these ones can be the absolute worst when it comes to crap like this; tresspassing, destruction of property, being annoying and hypocritical, littering, etc etc. Setting up all the barbed wire as a trap was great. I also got a good laugh when those stupid hippies actually had the gall to return and stick around when the conservation officer and sheriff came.. not too bright... made even funnier when they lied to the sheriff and got caught with having stuff on him too. They were made even more stupid by contacting the OP for permission to go on his land (which is probably what they should've done ot begin with) to get his messed up Subaru... and then cussing out the tow truck driver. What a bunch of idiots.
Story 2: Yeah i get that being put on hold and playing phone tag like can be extremely annoying and frustrating, but this guy was just being a douchebag. Just stay on hold, take a chill pill and wait your turn. Some people just really need to learn a small bit of patience.
Story 3: Yeah i would've slammed the door on this dumb Karen too... and would've done so a lot sooner then the OP did.
Story 4: I wouldn't have entertained this Karen right from the very start... you could almost tell that she was going to pull that from the beginning. OP had a great revenge for this... and made better that the rest of the neighbours started to dislike her move and eventually moved. Good riddance. Also... did she really think that the OP, or any gardener, would be able to make the lawn orange? Some people are just way too stupid.
Story 5: I was wondering the same thing... how did this old bat get and keep her license if she can't back up? She's clearly either a liar or paid her way to get her license. If this were me, i would've been petty and equally rude by going back to my car and just sit in there and watch her have a meltdown.
Thankfully I've never encountered such people. But it still annoys me that these *"hippies"* would refuse to respect OP's property and would camp out anyway. What were they smoking when they decided to do that?

First story is a perfect actually)
I bought an old Dairy Farm, over 20 years I converted it to a weekender and planted over 20,000 trees, wildlife surged back into the forest I planted. Then urban sprawl intruded, the evil spawn invaded my place during the week, build bike tracks, cut down my trees, blocked the 2 streams that had risen as I repaired the land. I lost my patience, I put up huge signs and planted cameras connected to my phone. After the 15th arrest the spawn got the message. I sold the property anyway.
those entitled people really push their luck with the law, even going as far as to act like a jerk still after being caught with illegal drugs, and as a result the lose their only car in the process.
Have two phones if you want to get ahead on hold calls. I've been on hold for an hour, my husband came home and I said give me your phone, called and got right through, made the payment before closing and done. The whole time, the other phone was never returned to. Done, and hung up both phones. Like WTH?🤷♀️

Sometimes these people simply are so over worked they forget, or the held line gets lost in the system somehow and just isn't able to be picked up.
So yes, hanging up and recalling after a while is perfectly valid, just not after 5 minutes.
I was already laughing at the situation before, but when he added insult to injury by calling the sheriff for their car being illegally parked, I lost it. LMAO

I remember sitting on hold with the Disney world help line for like 4 hours one day. I got fed up and decided to hang up and try again. Turns out I could have pressed a butten and gotten added to the callback list. They would call me back when it was my turn instead of having to sit on hold for hours
I work in a hospital setting where we used to have a need for a courier service. There were a few times where we absolutely needed something and we were put on hold for so long that the phone cut out. That happened several times in the same day until we finally got someone to talk to us. Ugh!
The thing that is stupid is that on the last story the old lady could of went forward a little bit farther and none of that would have never happened unless someone was already parked there and was gone when she got out the store and was slow when the poster got there so if she was not slow that entire story would never happen
always fascinated me to hear about land laws in the us. here in norway weve got a law that says everyone has access to the land to hike etc, as long as you dont damage it etc. Tho people often mistake this for being able to drive onto peoples land, you can walk, but not drive. and things such as farmland in use, near buldings etc, obvious gardens etc are of limits.
In the united states we value our privacy laws and trespass may get someome hurt it is a huge no no

@@Jorgew01 it is less about liability and more about the trespass itself... kinda like how you may feel if someone broke into your house. Our culture developed this way because of the way our nation was born. We have a very strong culture of territorial awarness that came from our fight with the redcoats.... it gave us a bit of a "stay of our land" mentality lol

Okay, maybe a slight exaggeration, but they simply didn't need to do nearly as much as the more recent generations
When I learned how to drive, I had to learn how to back up straight, parking, reverse parking, K-turns, U-turns, using a roundabout, etc.

These aren't hippies, I am a hippie, I came from generations of hippies....these aren't. As a hippie you partake in nature just like animals(Hunt, Forage, Fish, Ect) Its also a hippies duty to protect the land and keep native species in balance/dispose of invasive species. These are modern Nature "Activists"....
Btw this is just the stuff that involves Nature.
Story 1, private property doesn’t need to be fenced in. If you don’t own the property or have permission you shouldn’t just assume it’s ok. And yeah, OP did enjoy it. Why shouldn’t he?

I will say this is an honest opinion on the first story of there's any type of people I hate is people that try to judge you for killing animals but yet they have the audacity to harm the environment talk about hypocrites and don't get me wrong have you support the idea of not wanting to kill animals I perfectly understand that but please don't be a jackass and say it's okay to harm something like the environment and your path of destruction of trying to judge people for you know hunting and killing even though I feel hunting and killing is perfectly fine because at least those animals are quickly put out of their misery and they're not going to waste compared to like other companies that do do that with animals

This is the one place where I believe that England is superior to the United states. I am a United States citizen and have been since birth. But the idea that you can own everything that comes in to and goes from your property is absolutely ludicrous and hunting and camping laws should reflect that.
