i found this band when they debuted and fell in love right away.. adding a violin to a band is amazing and it's cool to see a band that finally did that also this is my feel good song.. it always brightens my day a little more

They were/are all amazingly talented and each band has their own unique sound. There is a guide about Lucy on TH-cam. But a fun fact that got my attention was the name of the band. I read somewhere that in the studio where they would hang out there was a dog called Lucy. Since the members always spent time with it, they decided to name themselves "LUCY". And Lucy also means "light". They want to be recognised for their own colours as a band.
the way gwangil (the drummer) started off in superband as a vocalist, then turned into a bassist for some rounds in the show, then finally a drummer when he started to play w the lucy members what a legend
This song was beautifully written and well-composed. It makes me want to let loose and relax. I don't really know how to describe how this song makes me feel, all I know is that whatever the feeling is, it's pleasant. There are so many things that set Lucy apart from other bands. Not only do they have a violinist in the band, but 3 out of 4 of their members actually sing in this song. The fact that their drummer sings as well is really intriguing because most drummers don't. Also, Lucy released a sign language lyric video for fans who are deaf & hard of hearing (I just thought it would be nice to share that they're considerate enough to do that) Btw PD, one thing I think you might find interesting about Lucy is that they were in Super Band and they're well-known for incorporating recordings of sounds from their surroundings into their songs. Their music is kinda centered onto translating "everyday sounds" through their instruments. You'll probably notice that in their Super Band performances (if you ever decide to check them out!) I'll make sure to link this video to Lucy so they can hear your positive thoughts about their debut song! Thank you ❤️

HOPPIPOLLA, Purple Rain, BANDAGE, Gift, etc. are just some of the bands/artists that were officially formed during the competition and continued to promote after! SO UNDERRATED!

I’m so glad you liked this song! it’s absolutely gorgeous and it just gives you such a bubbly and energetic but also somehow calm feeling. The drummer was actually singing too! He opened the song and did the first half of the first prechorus. Their bass player also did the backing vocals in the chorus, and the violin is just so different and absolutely beautiful. The outdoor set for the MV reminds me of where Onewe filmed End of Spring too, and both videos have the colourful chalk and smoke. Also kind of ironic though because the starting lyrics of the chorus for Flowering says “please bring me spring”. It’s not a super detailed MV but I really love the simplicity. This song is their debut but they were also on a show called Superband, where they came second. I’d really recommend checking out Hoppipolla too, they came in first and they’re amazing!

As a violinist myself, I'm so happy to see a violinist in the band because that's not usual at all these days. It's so refreshing! We need to bring strings instruments back to mainstream music, it would breakdown the edm base it's extremely used nowadays music

I love LUCY's music so much, to me it always sounds the way that a Ghibli movie looks and gives me the same feeling of nostalgia for something I've never known. Their music is just so beautiful and the violin gives it such a cinematic feel to me.

i love how they really set the atmosphere and the theme of the song just by their music, yet they can show dynamics and diverse build-up in just one song. it's like having a rollercoaster in just one song Flowering literally feels like having a nice afternoon tea time in the middle of a blooming meadow while feeling the breezy spring wind brushing through your hair
also FYI - the drummer, Gwangil, was originally a vocalist! He plays guitar and bass too. LUCY was formed on the show competition show Superband (also where Purple Rain was formed!) During one stage, Gwangil's team realized they were missing some depth without drums, so he decided to take on drums! And now he is Lucy's drummer/vocalist :)

Though most performances were taken down by JTBC due to copyright, few of them are still on TH-cam. Every band that has come out of Superband is superb (Hoppipolla, Bandage, Purple Rain etc).

They were formed on a reality show called superband and self produce/write everything themselves (mostly the bassist and also the main vocal also helps write). This is their debut and we are expecting a summer comeback as well.

Thank you for reacting to lucy. I really like this band. Lucy just came out with their first EP called Panorama and i honestly can't sort out my thoughts about it yet. I really love Flowering when it came out and i still listen to it with a different feeling and perspective every time. I agree that this song is very refreshing, very original, and pure. Actually, the overall presentation of this band is original and pure for me. It's interesting for me that their violinist and bassist has a bit of choreography when they perform live and their drummer serves as a second vocalist. He actually sings while drumming which i think is cool. However, forming a band in the kpop setting is a huge risk because only a few people appreciate them. Everybody knows the fact that bands like day6, n.flying, the rose (and others) are overlooked in kpop which is sad for me because i love bands. Bands like Lucy are so rare in kpop that everytime i heard there's a new band debuting, i immediately check out them. Lucy is still a rookie and I should definitely follow them and look forward to more things they will be putting out in the future.

Wonsang (the bassist) along with his friends (producers also which is known as YENEVARA) produced this song. Wonsang is the group Bassist and producer. He's so good in that craft that even a member of coldplay, fickle friends, and tennyson complimented his arrangements and producing thing.
My friend tried to get me into them but I was preoccupied with other groups. I heard they were coming to my city in June. Another friend told me that I’m going with her so I looked into them more and I’m soooo thankful. Their music is simply beautiful and I never expected to be so enraptured with their voices and the violin makes me ascend. I can’t wait to experience this all first hand. Thanks for the video. It allowed me to appreciate the MV more in depth

Thank you for reacting to lucy. I really like this band. Lucy just came out with their first EP called Panorama and i honestly can't sort out my thoughts about it yet. I really love Flowering when it came out and i still listen to it with a different feeling and perspective every time. I agree that this song is very refreshing, very original, and pure. Actually, the overall presentation of this band is original and pure for me. It's interesting for me that their violinist and bassist has a bit of choreography when they perform live and their drummer serves as a second vocalist. He actually sings while drumming which i think is cool. However, forming a band in the kpop setting is a huge risk because only a few people appreciate them. Everybody knows the fact that bands like day6, n.flying, the rose (and others) are overlooked in kpop which is sad for me because i love bands. Bands like Lucy are so rare in kpop that everytime i heard there's a new band debuting, i immediately check out them. Lucy is still a rookie and I should definitely follow them and look forward to more things they will be putting out in the future.

I absolutely love this song, I love violin in modern songs, it's just so beautiful. I've been listening to this song for past few weeks and I love it more and more every time
Wonsang (the bassist) along with his friends (producers also which is known as YENEVARA) produced this song. Wonsang is the group Bassist and producer. He's so good in that craft that even a member of coldplay, fickle friends, and tennyson complimented his arrangements and producing thing.
My friend tried to get me into them but I was preoccupied with other groups. I heard they were coming to my city in June. Another friend told me that I’m going with her so I looked into them more and I’m soooo thankful. Their music is simply beautiful and I never expected to be so enraptured with their voices and the violin makes me ascend. I can’t wait to experience this all first hand. Thanks for the video. It allowed me to appreciate the MV more in depth
I found out about Lucy when they were on the survival show JTBC Superband. I’m excited to see that they’re doing so well after the show ended.
