In this video, I used the basic style to beat someone with freedom. I am obviously not arguing that style doesn't really matter, but I am saying that you shouldn't rely on your style to win.

All the times I fought charge all I had to block the special move and play normally, but that's probably because everyone I fought with charge wasn't good.

Styles do matter Example: trash styles like kimura and turtle would barely do any damage even if you were good at it, you will struggle alot against people with the same skill as yours. The lower the rarity of styles, the more predictable it is. Higher rarity styles require skill because its hard to use while lower rarity styles are easy to use but predictable so you can perfect dodge it 75% of the time

Ofc, if you have the worse ability and you are fighting someone the same skill as you, you will lose. I am saying that if you have more skill, it wouldn't make too much of a difference.

100% agree with ya. Victory matters on who is more experienced and skilled. I’ve recently been using basic and fought against both a hawk and a freedom user; 3-0’d the hawk user since he never blocked and always delayed his attacks, the freedom user was much more skilled and I almost won with them at a sliver of hp but he was easy to perfect dodge and always fell for the good o’l m2, delayed m2 to abuse their dash, then m1 counter. They were both higher ranked then me too! (Diamond and gold.)
@@Supyisiscool Yea, even though I agree with you I'm still not denying things like how sometimes when you hit somebody, they sometimes combo you despite you hitting them first and trying to combo and the fact that sometimes you hit somebody, and it takes away their hp, but they somehow perfect dodge despite that. skill and experience are what victory depends on majorly but small factors such as that, ping and connection may cause worse problems. also, as people in the comments say, you can heavily struggle if a style has advantages against yours (coming from somebody who uses styles that are normally weak to counters) but skill and experience matter far more then gimmicks and advantages. as I've been taught, ADAPTATION IS KEY! if you can't adapt then you're finished, pretty much easy prey. sorry if this was long, I'm used to typing a lot! 😅

I was a kimura main when I first started playing and i was still able to outsmart and beat people while using it. Only reason I swapped away from it was because they were adding styles of characters I liked more. If your opponent isn’t good at fighting against your play style and can’t adapt as the fight goes on, they won’t win. You can still beat somebody who is using a op/meta style if your good at the game and the user of said style is bad. Styles have barely any substance when the user is bad at the game and even the worst can be useful when your good. Styles do matter but there’s way more important things then it. That is what I have concluded on when able to think about and take other peoples opinions into consideration.

Also there are many people here thats saying ghost is the best style in the game (which might be true, I do have skill issue and only used ghost twice) thats why I will try to prove it wrong by doing ranked with only basic for like 2 hours until I finally get a high ranked person with ghost

Unless you are spiking to like 200 pings not really a big deal. Fps is actually is a big deal, you can't play with lag, especially in a game where you are constantly making moves. But in the end, skill is the most important

If u skill with ghost it almost unbeatable because u always have 1st Priory m1 no matter what unless ur on CD and ghost stat overall are pretty good
