Gosh, I just love your energy. I always click so fast when you put a new video up. :)
Thank you for updating everyone on your practice. It's so interesting seeing how others work.

Honestly I'd love a Hekate video from you if you don't already have one. Or just on your experiences with her.

I love the acceptance of changing practice and seeing how others are growing! My practice has ebbed and flowed over the years, but I'll be checking the comments for recommended oils sources❤

ive made a compromise on the expensive beeswax thing, either i get molds and make my own, OR for most spells i get those really long orthodox beeswax candles in bulk. They are handmade with such good vibes and are a perfect 4-5 hour burn and take to dressings very well :) you can carve symbols into them too, with a toothpick. albeit thinner and more tedious, its more bang for my buck in my experience

I love Mountain Rose Herbs for beeswax candles! They have 3 different sizes and a tea light version.

I'm going to try veiling too! Thanks for sharing! I also feel a bit pulled in two directions with hellenistic and norse energies. Still not sure how it fits together. Odin seems to be leading the introductions...

I've found they actually work surprisingly well together as pantheons. They have different approaches and styles compared to the other while teaching the same lessons so it feels like a very complete picture.

You mentioning how Hekate "goes dormant" brought chills to me, because I have such a similar experience with Her!
Totally agree with the caution about novices working with Hekate as well, as someone who got called by Her, alongside the hordes of Hell (as a theistic Satanist), in my novice days..... the impacts are just. Intense.
    Loved this vid, as always!

Thanks for sharing. I've found that my practice has shifted and actually started to settle into someting cohesive and personal. I started as a Heathen, now I have a Gallo-Hellenic practice with a strong devotion to Brigantia. I share similar feelings about veiling, though I tend to find it more comforting over my heart, so I use more of a cloak/shawl that I've embroidered with devotional images to Brigantia. I have a glasses cleaning cloth that kinda matches the base color, so in places that I can't veil with the cloak (like work), I carry that.

Thank you for this video. I feel the same about Hecate -- she comes in cycles for me. I love the info on your equipment too. I was going to ask about what you use. Thank you!

Thanks for sharing! It's so interesting how one's practice changes over time! I'm curious about the "spirit deaf" term you're using. Where did that term come from? Did you coin it yourself? I'm Deaf (ear deaf, I guess? Lol) and I was wondering how you see your interactions with spirits as relating to the Deaf community?

For me, my practice has shifted dramatically over the years.
I started my practice when in late high school, but there were experiences and pulls toward non-organized-Christianity for a while beforehand. I started getting into herbal medicine and witchcraft from there, hiding my craft from my mom and siblings with the fear I would be kicked out.
Once I reached college, during my first 3 years I exploded into spirit and death work. I got into divination and had a stand at the local farmer's market reading tarot for tips. I met a lady who was a priestess or a local Wiccan circle and I was in that for about 2 years.
Then COVID hit. I was briefly back at my mom's place during the last semester of my bachelor's program, then I entered my Master's program and moved back to town. I'm a friend of Nike's, so when I met them in the apartment, we shared knowledge for a time. I started getting involved in online spaces, but most of them crumbled. I tried to get involved with deity work, but it didn't stick.
Nowadays, after a 2 year break from my practice, I'm taking baby steps. I set up an altar that has space for a money bowl and ancestor work. I read up on my herb collection and relearned what they're for. I did a small grief working for someone.
I'd say I'm primarily a folk practitioner who handles death and grieving as my strongest workings.

As always, amazing video. The '''joint'' you were talking about, is probably part of the thigh bone that connects it to the rest of the leg, so it's more of a knee joint. I would take a wild guess it is a deer or a smaller cow.

Hey heads up that's the knee joint part of the femur, the thigh bone! I highly encourage a bones throwing practice, it has been so impactful for me as a thread throughout my practice

I do more eastern european folk magic and some middle eastern. I love sewing symbols into scarves and shirts as protection magic. I do a lot of folk magic. Ancestral magic, weather, and plant magic is mainly what I do. I'm just a beginner so I'm still testing the waters on what feels right to me. I do feel close to chaos type magic. So anything unpredictable seems to be what I feel very close to. Never felt close to any deities though except for one but I wouldn't know what they would be considered except for the monotheistic version of God. But I'm not Christian. Mainly Sufi Muslim I suppose. I have been raised so much on things being put into a box when it comes to religion or spirituality that trying to put a name to my conglomeration of stuff still feels weird because it takes from everything.
I naturally also carry around seashells, fossils, rocks from various places in my pocket if that means anything ( I never looked up what that meant. It just felt right.)
