Arguably one of the most famous locations within Marbella. The luxury 5 Star Hotel Puente Romano designed by Melvin Villarroel attracts visitors and tourists from all over the world throughout the entire year.
Real estate prices for apartments in this area reach into eye-watering multi-million euro numbers!
But did you know that the original development of the buildings on this beachfront location were never intended to be luxury homes. Actually they were iinitiated as standard housing for local Marbella people. That was until a certain gentleman arrived in Marbella, and changed the destiny of this special place.
Mrs Jones speaks to Pablo Villarroel, one of Melvin´s 4 children, who now all work within the architectural firm that is Melvin´s legacy, Villarroel Torrico.
