Tarantula Hawks are usually about 3 inches long, basically the same size as a small bird, they usually hover closer to the ground.

Stepping on one with a bare foot would ruin your day.

Certainly a lot of cactus in Arizona! Tarantula Hawk would terrify me... Other than that! my kind of tourist trap (doesn't cost any money). You get to see the beautiful horses and they will talk to you. That's really nice. Seems like a really great place to visit.
