That’s the thing that really turned me off about NA. Any meeting I’ve went to, people treat you better if you’re completely in the gutter, actively using but hoping to stop than if you’re like “yeah, I quit shooting heroin, got a job, mended fences with family and got my life together.... but I like to smoke a joint before bed”. Universally people will give you disgusted, disappointed looks. If that’s your mindset, NA folks seem to believe you’re even more lost than when you were a hardcore user
I’m not very religious at all, but if you guys could take a min and pray for my family that would be great. My Grandma died last Thursday of covid, not about half my family has it.. my twin sister got her test results back today and she is positive she was the one that took my gma to the er and watched her suffer and die and now she is very sick and also very depressed and sad. We all need to be tested and have our negative results to attend the funeral, plus to top it all off my Dad got his 4th illegal re entry charge and is locked up in Arizona somewhere and we don’t know for how long but thinking 10 years. Life is really sucking rn and I’m doing all I can to stay sober through it all. I did take a Xanax but without that Idk what I would have done today. Thanks to u all in advanced.

Yeah Jason! Ryan has been putting that work in for real. The regular youtube crowd has no idea what he's doing and most of patreon doesn't either but his true fans are going to be greatly suprised especially when the documentary comes out. I literally had a 2 hour conversation with him I think on tues. Or wed. Night about it. I'm one of the assoc. producers for the documentary and the music in it is going to be great and the people who don't believe his story won't have any other choice now after they see the doc. because 95% of it is all caught on video...it's going to be so dope!!!!!

But after listening to him for about a month we actually have some commonalities. No prison bulshit but with drug addiction and just life in general. I'm glad you mentioned a spiritual path Ryan I really believe that's what you need I'm a 40 year heroin addict and God was the only thing that can get me out of this situation and off the opiates in the benzos there was no other way I could not do it by myself I tried for 20 years straight and then I finally just gave my life to God and started trying to live the best Christian Life I could none of us are perfect we're all sinners but as long as we know that and try to do better our higher power is always there for us Jesus came here to save our lives and that's what he did find God and you will find happiness Jesus Christ.

Ryan I wrote I little bit back about seeing the huge change in u in all aspects since I've started these videos n how u really inspired me to try and get off methadone......u mentioned u wanted to do some sober videos and that would be awesome!! I am currently still working on slowly coming off methadone but I am very afraid of the after that part.....any help would b wonderful
Hate to say it but dudes right. Like three to four days heroin then a quick sub taper is in reality prob the least painful way to do it. But assuming you don't want to touch dope again, if you can go like two to three days after your last done dose them start a quick sub taper ( like starting with an 8 mg strip and ending with 1/2mg over the course of like ten days or so that'll help ease you out if it at least. One thing you might not be able to avoid is the general sluggishness/feeling of exhaustion and slight achiness and body temp going haywire. But what I said will stave off the worst of it for sure. Good luck and most importantly ask for help and surround yourself with friends/ppl that have been thru it, for real

I'm only 4 minutes and 20 seconds into this video but I fucking loved the intro to this that encompassed that 4mins20. you're spot on and always have a knack for being hysterically funny while simultaneously droppin real shit. I agreed with virtually everything you had to say and I am looking forward to your path to sobriety videos. I've been on and off battling opiates since 2004 (mostly on, but "quit" plenty of times, sometimes weeks, sometimes months, sometimes years but always wind up back in the same place, always was able to quit eventually when putting my mind to it even if it took multiple attempts to get thru detoxing over several months, I could always manage eventually doing it. Not the case this time, after a year and a half+ time invested in this last attempt to quit that im currently failing at, for the 1st time ever I just cant stop for the life of me i just cant stop, and its going to take everytime I hold dear, at least what little is left to me still.) I took such an affinity to them because of real deal ptsd, I spend a lifetime surviving before I ever started taking opiates at 24, it felt like the perfect bandage, I fast learned it wasn't, but 16 and a half years later the things i had to survive are ancient history, spoiler warning: i survived. but the dope is still here nonetheless, and a bigger detriment to my present and future happiness and life as a whole on every level all encompassing. So I really look forward to that series, I look forward to it alot and Ive been so inspired by your success and growth past your addiction for a long time. It truly is awesome and powerfully inspiring, and real shit, to have seen it grow and develop and come fully into fruition is a major motivator and inspiration to me and deserves the utmost and fullest props and respect for such an amazing accomplishment

Going on a week with very little withdrawals. No sweaty pillows! A thought becomes words. Words become actions. Actions manifest things. The key to success.
You should catch another fed case n bump your points up to USP level n then come back out n tell some pen stories lol. I just finished 7 years in the USP and I have crazy stories and wish I had story telling skills like you. It's funny because I understand all of the federal shit you talk about and it helps me get through the tough times. I listen all day at work

I know that it would be boring for most people, but, you really should do some sobriety videos for those who need it. I say that you “should“… Actually, you should do what you want to do. However, I do find it pretty amazing -and I do not use that word loosely, at all, but it pretty much is amazing that you were basically able to reprogram yourself into being a non drug user after using drugs, like, the last half of your life AND THEN quitting suboxone cold turkey without relapsing.It’s UNBELIEVABLE (and truly amazing)! You could make millions off of your story regarding being a hardcore addict and just walking away from it.I get it - you love telling the war stories and that’s what the majority of the people want to hear, but, you could be basically a savior to drug attic’s all over the world if you told your story about how you just decided to say fuck drugs after YEARS AND YEARS of drug use - even while incarcinated.

I was on methadone and it was hard to get off it Suboxone help me but I'm on like 14 mg cant stop I want to tho what helps besides benzos
Gotta taper bud. Do it slow. 2 mg per 2 weeks. You’re on a lot. Subs are not an easy kick

I know that it would be boring for most people, but, you really should do some sobriety videos for those who need it. I say that you “should“… Actually, you should do what you want to do. However, I do find it pretty amazing -and I do not use that word loosely, at all, but it pretty much is amazing that you were basically able to reprogram yourself into being a non drug user after using drugs, like, the last half of your life AND THEN quitting suboxone cold turkey without relapsing.It’s UNBELIEVABLE (and truly amazing)! You could make millions off of your story regarding being a hardcore addict and just walking away from it.I get it - you love telling the war stories and that’s what the majority of the people want to hear, but, you could be basically a savior to drug attic’s all over the world if you told your story about how you just decided to say fuck drugs after YEARS AND YEARS of drug use - even while incarcinated.
