I think the redhead kind of looks like how Midge looks in Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse especially with her hairstyle!
I love the redhead. She is my favorite! I did my hair almost exactly like her in Jr. High in 1987. Of course my bangs were higher. I too wore reeboks. And I totally forgot about the layered socks! 😂
I’m pretty sure Whitney uses the Steffie mold, so the difference is just the screening. When I looked up the molds, I saw there were also some using this mold with red hair in the 80s, and they were called Midge. They look very similar to this one.
I wouldn’t mind a reproduction of the pink holiday Barbie from the 90s (the one where it was huge, hot pink, and sparkly tulle) but I’m not sure the quality would be similar.
These Barbie rewind dolls are just beautiful 😍💖 I’m loving the whole 80s aesthetics and the packaging is really cool

I would love a 70s edition wave of Rewind. I'm a total sucker for a crop top/bell bottoms combo, and we haven't seen anything like that (anything official anyway) on Barbie since the actual 1970s!

I love that they used the face molds used Barbies in the the 80s. I had a LOT of 80s Barbies as a kid because my mom got quite a few of my toys and VHS tapes from garage sales. I’m an early 2000s kid.

Love the Stephie face mold. I also love the 80’s. I had 3 pairs of Reeboks, 1 pair of LA gear. I couldn’t get yellow Reeboks. So I went to Kinney shoes and got yellow knock offs. The dolls need very poofed up bangs and hair. I wore a lot of long shirts and tights as well as poofed up sleeves and padded shoulders.

Yay rewind Barbie’s ❤️❤️❤️ I always wanted Jem dolls when I was kid in the 80s & 90s I would use highlighters on my Barbie’s to color their hair and usually I cut their hair too 😂😍 yes pretty woman 💯 that brown dress with polka dots is so so good 👍👍👍 😂 shoulder pads I hated those so much as a kid 😂
I so like the redhead! When they would release her in Italy I would surely buy her.
I like the dress of the other one, but I don't really like the fact that she has an open mouth, I'm not a fan of the open-mouthed Barbies.

The Dynasty one is my favourite but they’re both cute. I bought the business one from wave 1 (on sale) and I’ll probably do the same this time

Does anybody have a good rubber band recommendation for dolls that don't perish overtime? I'm really interested in anybody's favourites because I hate when my dolls rubber bands deteriorate on their hair or accessories 😂

I played Barbies with the next door neighbor girl all the time and we made our own version of "Dallas" called "Houston"...it got rill. Later I rocked the aqua Converse high tops with my OP board shorts and achieved a look that was tubular

I have to say I like the redhead better just because it reminds me of the midge doll I had with the freckles and green eyes. I think she was from the wedding set or something I remember she had a little gold ring painted on her finger.
