Ma sha Allah !!! Really great work !! If after finishing Aqeeda Tahawiyah Shaykh could do a series on few other books like Al Fiqh ul Akbar, Aqeeda Nasafi etc it will be extremely beneficial for the distant learners like us ... Jazak Allah for the good work :)))

Western philosophy needs 2500 years more to first mature itself, and then try to understand and appreciate Ibn Tayimiah.
He is one of the great scholars who refuted Aristotelian logic and ontology.... Which according to Martin Heidegger has wasted 2500 years of Western philosophy.
(c.f Being and Time, Martin Heidegger).
All i can say is I have never seen a genius on the level of ibn taymiyyah (rh) till date. Its just mindblowing. His caliber as theologian is almost unmatched. Not to mention he is a giant figure in Tafsir, Hadith science and Fiqh.
Truly the person deserve the title of Shaikh al Islam.
I am more fascinated in his work in logic. The man was brilliant.
He is of the caliber of Godel easily.
true, IT is Godel of 13 th cen when it comes to logic and rhetoric.
That alone makes him awesome. However, he didnt limit his work to that only. He worked extensively in Quran s tafsir (his work Principles of Tafsir) Hadith, and fiqh.
His major few students were Ibn kathir (tafsir specialist), Ad Dhahabi (One of the biggest figure in haidith science in sunni school), Ibn Mufith(one of the biggest fiqh expert in Hanbali school) and his magnum opus student Ibn Qayyim who worked on theology logic and fiqh and is tremendously well known for that.
More I study this guy more i get baffled.
his intellectual smackdowns of deviant sects was absolutely mind blowing to read .. A true lion of the Sunnah
    ..............
Athari creed, this has predated more popular creeds such as Ashar’i and Maturidi who were heavily influenced by Ilm al Kalam (Science of speech) (Philosophy In layperson terms).
The Athari creed affirms what Allah SWT has described Himself as being within His holy scriptures. Companions such as Abdullah Ibn Abbas and Abu Musa Al Ashar’i RA make this topic clear. Classical figures such as Sufyan Ibn Uyaynah, As-Sha’bi, As-Shafi’e and Ahmed Ibn Hanbal all believed and wrote about this. If you condemn Ibn Taymiyyah then condemn the root of the tree which are names previously mentioned. Even the founder of Ashar’ism, Abu Hasan Al Ashar’i rejected the idea of this creed and accepted Atharism, later in his life he wrote a book, al-Ibanah.
    .
ibn Taymiyyah didnt affirm the kayf he denied modality of God but affirmed the statement of Quran which says Allah has hand the manner of Hand is unkown. On the other hand asharis take the view because they agree with aristotelian philosophical modes of essence separate from attributes which is unkown in islam.
And athari creed which ibn Taymiyyah holds predates ashari and maturidi creed and they were kicked out of damascus for being heretical jahmi while ibn Taymiyyah was champion of of it.é
"Shrine cult" Sufis debunked... Plus Ibn Taymiyyah discovered economics... Well sort of before Adam Smith.
Ibn taymiyyah was a great scholar and Imam... He never supported sufism....
He was the real Muslim who fought against the two big deviant cancers started affecting Islam on that time, Shiaism and Soofism.
Muslim scholars called it: Shaykh al-Islam
    * Books on Fiqh and Islamic Unification
    * Exposing false doctrines affiliated with Islam
    * Response to other religions and their invalidity
    * Explain that Islam is the ultimate religion of life - a philosophy that is famous for it
    finally
    * Excelled in reply and martyrdom.
    * Pain with all the cultures of the religions that experienced to answer them
you mean he knows all the cultures.....etc
    May God mercy on him
Orientalists are very shrewd in what they choose present and what they choose to hide about a given subject they endeavor upon, not to mention how they present him as contradictionthrough a Western lens
orientalists and western academics are gatekeepers for there jewish overlords.
If you really want a grasp of islamic texts learn arabic. Learn hebrew to see how corrupt jewish texts are.
Ibn Taymiyyah is the sheikh of tolerance and an encyclopedic scholar who has emerged in every art
Ibn taymiyyah rahmatu allahi alayhi was a distinguished scholars that the world witnessed for his virtue, knowledge and seeking justice to all muslims
He is the greatest scholar in Islam after the "Salafus Salih" [Sahaba, Tabe'in and Atba' Tabe'in] era!!!
    --------
True. Actually if Ibn Taymiyyah was alive today he would denounce Osama Bin Laden ideology. Osama bin laden quotes the things he need and ignores the ideas that opposes him. For example, Ibn Taymiyyah wrote a lot against Khawarej ideology and the necessity of obedience to the rulers of Islam for the benefit of the public even if they have some downfalls. He also wrote a lot about criteria for Takfir. Which is all against the ideology of Osama bin Laden.
you can only blame the few ignorant followers that obviously misunderstood/couldn't grasp his balanced intellectual thinking.
Its factual that both ISIS and Usama b. Laden constantly quoted Ibn Taymiyyah. That does not mean Ibn Taymiyyah was like those extremists, but its a fact that those movements represent an extreme branch of Salafism which as a whole ties itself to Ibn Taymiyyah. These are undeniable facts. Ibn Taymiyyah was a genius of huge caliber, he part of the Islamic tradition and majorly influential.
ُThank You! I hope to upload some lectures in Islamic studies and Qur'anic studies.
I think TH-cam is very important platform for education .Thank you again
