Drummer showed up for a board meeting and was asked to play for one of the greatest bands of the day. Rolls up his sleeves and kills it.

The Crowes have sold more than 30 million albums and are listed at number 92 on VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock. They were labeled by Melody Maker as "The Most Rock 'n' Roll Rock 'n' Roll Band in the World" and the readers of Rolling Stone voted them 'Best New American Band' in 1990. They have played to sold-out arenas all over the world. Pretty good rating if you ask me

Saw the show in Rochester, '93. I remember thinking that I should see these guys as many times as possible, it was my first legit rock and roll show. Incense at the front of the stage, festival lights stung to the back of the theater, and at some point Chris pulled a big curtain across the back of the stage with a big pot leaf on, and everyone fired up. It was loud, and he was just a bundle of energy. So glad TBC is still around, but I do miss Eddie!

The same thing happened to me when I was little! When I was just 5 years old, the first ever rock album I heard its entire way through was the Southern Harmony and Musical Companion. I became a Crowes fan because of my dad. Now he and I listen to them together every day!

Yeah I seen The Black Crowes a few times that's served their gig like in all the 80s late 80s long-haired rock band with the 50s looking like drummer member Cheap Trick did that to had the 50s looking drummer yeah I've been played in a band since the 70s started with Salem witchcraft building a few times with the Silver Bullet Band I know Bob Seger really good we both come from Ann Arbor Michigan we had a lot big bars in the 70s and 80s here in Detroit we had hard balls Fox Theater yeah wimpy in the 70s was a cool place to rock on you older people like me that can appreciate that 60s and 70s and some of the 80's music I want I'm filled in for the Grassroots that was pretty cool😎👍🎵🎶🎹🎤🎺
