If the disk doesn’t appear it’s likely because it’s broken or not connected properly. That being said make sure you’re looking for your disk under the right name. It will only appear as nvme0n1 if it’s an NVME ssd chip, you might not have an NVME chip leading it to appear maybe as sda or sdb.
