Thank you so much for taking the time to show us how. I have a few pan pastels and truthfully did not know how to use them properly... you are making this picture come alive. Mariola Budek to me is the one who creates the very best faces. You are so very calm , I could watch you for hours.
Wonderful video. I recently got the skin tone set to add more shades to the portrait set. I will definitely have to try and buy this page and follow along with you
I love Mariola’s work and this has been so interesting to watch. I would have thought the one on toned paper would have been easier because the mid tones are already there waiting for highlights and shadows but you showed me it’s not that simple! The eyes are beautiful in all of them, thank you for sharing Karen xxx💕
Hi Karen! What a fabulous video, I loved this very much! I was so excited to find out about the Sepia paper! I love the way you did skin and the eyes were just gorgeous! I definitely saved this video! Thank you so much! 💖💖
I love your style of coloring. Have learned a great deal from you!! I have noticed in this series of videos that the light is always changing. It is quite distracting from your beautiful work. Beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing.
The light seemed to change from a yellowish tint to normal when you came toward the camera. It also fluctuated while you were colouring. I got used to it and I loved watching your process, I also thought it might be my iPad. I have just got this book and I was wondering about the large areas of skin, pencil is such a long process so you have just solved my problem as I have pan pastels. Your work is gorgeous. Thank you
@@merylehawkins5177 Thanks for letting me know, I do love the pan pastels for the large areas of the face and if I have colored them with pencils the pastels smooth out any lines I may have created and don't want.... lol
I love how you do faces! You are really good at it!!!
Thank you

Yes I understand the problem, and it has been fixed. Thank you
You are amazing! Love it!
Can you use hairspray on the pan pastels as a fixative like you can with eyeshadow?
I have not tried that...
Amazing Karen....her eyes jump off the page ❤️
Thank you I learned a lot from this one ❤️
Nice job 😀
Thank you Johanna😊
The woman in the picture reminds me of the concierge at the hotel where I stay at in Maui
Hello, Did you run pastel paper thru your printer to make your copies, and how did that workout ? Your work with the pan pastels is really good.
Hi Craig I printed the white background images on 110 weight card stock, brown was card stock bought at the craft store.
What eraser are you using with pan pastels?
Hi Micheline the eraser I am using is one from Diaso, cheap but cute ... lol You can use any soft eraser

I love the skin done with the pastels and you have done such a lovely job. Is it just me or does your light keep changing?
Thank you Meryle, I was wondering about the lighting... I am looking into it, hope it wasn't to distracting. Take care
