sir i think so in first cycle we should addition in the place of subtraction because value of a is less then zero and in the second cycle we should subtraction in the place of addition because value of a is greater the 0.
We have to perform Addition or subtraction i.e A + B or A- B....So number of bits in A and B should same...i.e the only reason we should take extra MSB bit
THIS IS WRONG. The bit that should determine the add/subtract operation must come from the sign bit of the original A (i.e. the not shifted to the left version) !!!!!!!
Follow the same algorithm...for negative numbers...but the only difference is that while solving the problems of negative numbers ..consider those numbers are positive and solve example...e.g. if -23/5....so -23 is negative...so while solving ..consider this is positive number...i.e. 23 like wise for divisor also. After solving the example find the sign of quotient and remainder by using the following formula.. Sign of quotient = sign of divisor x sign of dividend And Sign of remainder = sign of dividend. If the sign of remainder or quotient is negative then take the two's complement of respective result. Thats your final answer.
Our Teacher took 1 period to explain it. Still many were confused. Thanks for the great explaination.
Superb explanation 🔥🔥.
Watched the whole playlist.
Thank you sir 🙏🙏.
Most welcome 😊
helped me a lot during exams !!
Seeing this before exam , thanku sir❤️
Shouldn't number of bits be same for both Q and A?
Brilliant explanation ❤❤
Thank you sir your teaching is so cleaned and simple

Nice explanation
Thank you sir for teaching us
Thank you a lot
Nice explanation. Thanks
Pleasure
Last value is 1 how we add u said if 1 add
Thanks so much
we should first check A
See the flowchart.. Initially we are left shifting, subtracting and the go for checking A
V good explanation sir
If divisor is negative what we hv to do
Thanks bro...
is it applicable for signed numbers ?
i need an example on 8 bit dividend and 4 bit divisor ....(your response please sir)
Excellent
Where is the flow chart

when sign is of A is 1 then q0 should be 1 but uve done 0!!!??
Noo,u should assign 0
Sir please tell me why you take one extra o in b
As a sign bit..
@@MrBabaaldar why we dun including this sign bit in case of multiplication
In milultiplication... Answer may positive may negative...

Sir , can you please solve 10110110÷1101
The remainder has to be 0,but how is it 1???

Nope, this is the correct way
How to perform this for negative divisor

Sign of quotient = sign of divisor x sign of dividend
And
Sign of remainder = sign of dividend.
If the sign of remainder or quotient is negative then take the two's complement of respective result.
Thats your final answer.
