Thanks so much Madam Rebecca, for your excellent lessons. I'm an English teacher and your lessons help me a lot. Words can't say exactly how grateful I'm to you.
Especially on social media, I often see people use Me as a subject ( e.g. Me, saying ****, Me visiting ****, Me eating ****, “Them: Are you a dog person or a cat person? , Me: All I can tell you is that I’m not a people person. “ like these) Actually I was expecting to learn what the rules of this kind of structure. Can you please explain also about it in your next video?
Hi teacher Rebecca, I wanted to ask is conversational English different from written English. Because in conversations I’ve found it very common for people to say “me and my sister love pizza” or “me and my sister went to the Cinema” etc. I hardly hear people saying in conversation “my sister and I went to the Cinema” for example. Just curious and thought I’d ask the question. I love your classes and thank you.
I did the quiz and got 10 out of 10 thank you, Teacher Rebecca. You always teach using easy methods and we almost catch the lessons without any issues. ❤️
Teacher Rebecca, you are special. I wish long lives for you and your loved one. My brother and I are improving our speaking skills once we start attending on Rebecc class. Girma is cooking breakfast for Jon and me.
It is my first class of your channel, I want to say you are the best teacher i have ever seen, thanks for making such an informative video, this video will help us many students who learn English
Dear Rebecca Thanks for your extraordinary lesson🙏🌷 I was wondering if you answer my grammatical question below: If we changed the structure of sentence to " I sent Maria a letter", would "Maria" still be indirect object or would it change to direct object? Thank you so much for your time and all the best for you❤
Subject = the doer, object = the victim, verb = the deed of the subject. Objective pronouns appear after all prepositions and and all verbs, except for "be". Actually, there is no reason for using objective form after "be" since it is not a deed. So, formally, we say "It is I". However, most native speakers of English say it "It is me".
Thank so much. Please help me with these: 1. Bola invited Joe and _____ to the party. A. Me B. I 2. Ebou invited Bola and _____ to his birthday party. A. I B. Me
She has been teaching English on TH-cam since 2008! I appreciate you, Rebbeca ❤
