Clark I love your TH-cam channel my father was inducted in the blues hall of fame after he passed away 8 years ago and he played organ guitar and sang he played with James brown and ray Charles and many others. You have such a knowledge about music and it reminds me of the days watching him. I miss those days. I enjoy your channel so much you breaking down American idol performances are so spot on and great. I recommend for everybody to join you channel. You touch people when you sing it's a gift from god. Just wanted to say love your channel and your voice is amazing. I'm gonna keep trying to get people to join your members only club.

hey I am brand new here and I LOVE IT! Your energy, insight, clear and concise way of explaining things and ohhh I love your voice. You add a lot of value to me going back and hearing these songs with new ears. Also this is like some good post graduate review for me being a voice major hahaha. Love love it. Keep at it and I have a request. I was surprised to see no Jessie J yet on your analysis videos. Specifically Jessie J did some stunning live performances in China for a singing competition. Even more specifically "reflection" and "my heart will go on" were amazing. Would love to see what you say about those!

I luv both their transitions when they run 🔥 and they churchyyyy!! They both definitely use the muscles in their mouth internally more than externally and that shows u can belt without being extra in the face 🤣. I love how u explained Clark's Vibrato and his growls. They're definitely airy and add a raw texture to his voice with his natural rasp. His rasp isn't too much its beautiful and so smooth which is my favorite part of his voice 😍. Yebba's technique when running is definitely fusion of gospel and Jazz. This analysis is dope 🔥 thanks for this ! 🙌

When you said < Yebba is preaching/ getting churchy> I smiled so big knowing that we were going to the double clap… and I’m a temple attendee 😆
They work so well together because they speak the same language in how and where they began their journey into music. And , unlike many, I don’t hear Adele as much as I do Aretha- but Yebba is 100% Yebba, a pure joy to watch and listen to and whose ability makes every performance unique in the flips and turns, riffs and runs…
I stopped watching AI after Lambert, Hudson and ,the final straw, Beckham didn’t win.
I don’t know if you’ll read this but , as someone who couldn’t carry a tune ( even in a Louis Bag;) , do singers purposely do all the things with the positioning of their mouth, larynx, tongue etc as they perform or is it just an awareness that comes with time, practice, and learning from vocal training?
