Take in our latest meet the artist video! April Matisz, the brilliant creator of The Gatherers, which is in our vault exhibition space until November 5. She candidly shares her inspirations, approach to creativity, and her hopes for what these series will inspire in viewers.
The Gatherers is a series of rich collages, featuring abstracted human figures exploring their environment. They search for life sustaining necessities, as well as for an understanding of humanity’s place as part of our world.
