Probably would’ve. I had no intention of rolling the rear up on the trailer far enough to worry about clearance. I did underestimate how heavy the rear of it was. It was considerably heavier in the rear.
When I was 16 I had a dent on my bumper. 1983 $100 for a new bumper so I decided to nock the dent out. I had a 2x4 hit it with a 2.5 pound slug hammer. Corner of my eye I saw blood skirting. Look Ang I hit my thumb. Bent thyroid over the top. It cost $110 for the doctor and X-ray. Still had the dent 😭
We used a huge ratchet strap. To hold pressure and get it past the tire. The tractor was able to push the backend up with someone pulling the strap tighter. I’m sure a chain boomer would’ve worked great.

Still glad you share we all want to see
Yep you just have to roll with the flow
Well every adventure comes with its up and downs, hey at least the tires were free?
Pops always said, “Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose big.”.
Sorry that went the way it did for you. Man I sure could of used that cab (or parts of it) for my project. Too bad it went to the crusher.
I was going to take it off but after the fiasco with loading it. I didn’t want to risk any damage to the trailer that I didn’t own.
Why didn't you remove the outer dually wheels from the truck ? That's one thing I saw that might have made things a touch easier.

It’s hard to find good help
Or any for that matter! Got her trained to drive the tractor so she’s a keeper!
You look like a big strong feller. If you have trouble getting something off it must be really stuck.

Dollar wise and penny foolish as they say.
Oops! Well at least it's gone.
What about using boomers to pull the front of the trailer back down?
