The ball is hard to control, if you lose grip on it and it rolls down, you better hope it snags behind some obstacle or you will lose multiple levels of progress, sometimes even all progress. And every obstacle that hits the player himself, creates a second of stunlock, most likely resulting in the ball rolling down. But I'm glad I made it look easy! :)

There are many others with different quirks, like a football that you kick, or a duck that quacks whenever you roll over its beak.
