Thanks for this review! I ordered this same black case for my black XR yesterday. I was a little worried that maybe I should have gotten the Commuter, but this video definitely reassured me that I made the right decision. I had the Symmetry for my 6S Plus and loved it.

Even though the commuter has that nice apple logo cutout Symmetry is my personal preference since it’s slimmer :)

@@devingill4781 Speaking from experience, the Symmetry handles drops really well. I've not done drop tests, but I have had drops from waist high (by accident). No damage. A coworker of mine has a XS with the Commuter. One drop and the phone survived but the case corner of the Commuter cracked at the camera cut out. Personally, and this is just my opinion, the Symmetry is the superior case when compared to the Commuter.

Idk if you guys found out how to take it off but I barely just came across this vid. You guys have to grab a top corner and then force a bottom corner of your phone out of the case. For example hold to on left corner of the case and then kind of force the phone out of the case by pushing the back of the case at the bottom right to nudge the phone out. I know it’s weird af but since the case fits so snug and tight around the phone I always found this way easy to get my phones out. I’ve had this case for a lot of my iPhones

Wow. I just bought this and put it on my XR. There are NO RAISED EDGES, THE SCREEN IS FLUSH WITH THE EDGES OF THE CASE. WTF? Maybe the design changed. Don't buy it in 2019.
