@@DaddyTo2 the zero blade is just a clip on blade. It gets super close to the skin. It’s different than the guards that come with the clipper. It’s almost like using a zero gapped T blade on andis. 🍻
Great review. Picking up a pair with the zero gap blade for my son and self. I’ve my Andis and Osters for over 35 years now (didn’t realize it was that long). Looking forward to getting them here soon. For a tight line, I use a Feather SS Japanese straight razor. The handle style is great for control.
No doubt. I definitely believe that. With my coarse beard, I have to have the clipper at the highest. I still got a little snag when trying to trim and shape the beard. Not bad overall but I definitely wish it was a bit more RPM to satisfy the more coarse beards that aa lot of men have. 💯🍻👊🏽
Great job. I wondered about those, been seeing them everywhere. It looks like it would speed up a shave 🪒 if you been lazy and got some extra growth 💯👊🏽

Great video, B. Good job for being honest. The Brio Beardscape works very well for me. I do have an Andis trimmer similar to the T liners. It’s one my wife received as a gift from her blade sharpening guy for her dog grooming business. It does a killer job of shaving my head hear right to the skin. They work just as good as the Brio for my beard. I still prefer the Brio though. Always support you 100%. 😁🍻
Beard Times With Scott much appreciated Scott. Yeah I will definitely use get some use out of the brio. I like thats it’s a wider head for taking off more hair with every pass. It gets low enough with the zero blade for my hair, when I’m not going razor bald. I’m also going to use it in another video when I trim my beard. I think they will work great for that. Also did a nice job with fading my sideburns. 🍻💯👊🏽
Wow sorry to hear that. I haven’t had that issue yet. Definitely have to press down lighter for them lineups. Doesn’t need much pressure. Try a pair of the slim line pros. If your just doing lineups. I use those as well. 💯🍻
The attachments can fit on either blades. Just have to keep in mind it’s a zero gap when you use them. Each guard will cut lower than the usual gold blade that comes with it. 🍻👊🏽 PS. No adjustment capabilities with the zero blade.
It's a shame that the beardscape isn't great for lining up coarser beards. But my beard hair comes in super soft (I'm Indian) and I notice it gives me the sharp look I'm looking for
That’s awesome. Glad it works for you in that regard. Having coarse hair, most times means you need a fast trimmer that really motors through hair in order to get that precision your looking for with a crisp beard line. I love the Brio for the coverage overall and maybe if I’m just doing a soft cheek line etc. But I doubt you see this tool in many urban barbershops, unless the barber comes behind the lineup with the razor edge. 👊🏽💯
@@Bdacht thanks first trimmer I got with a rpm settings and was like lower or higher better but reach out to brio they said the lower is for if you are away from your charger and need to conserve power or teens learning to use one and lower rpms is less intimidating to them till they get use to it.
Faster speed trimmers seem to give me a crispy line with ease. Less passes. The brio over time has gotten better but it’s still a few more passes to achieve the sharper line. I like it most due to it being a clipper and I get a total usage out of it for the detachable blades and different levels to fade my beard into my bald head. It’s definitely not a deal breaker for slower speeds. Just means more passes to achieve the results you want. 🍻
Great video and review. I've had my Brio adjustable trimmer for a few years now and I really like it. Just saw they have new blades like the zero blade or the axis t-blade. I have both the Brio beardscape and the Brio Axis (smaller trimmer). It's nice to see the new blades in action and how they actually work. Thank you.
This is the best review I’ve seen for this so far. Although it doesn’t give a good sharp line, it does appear to be good on the head and I was impressed on the beard fade which it seemed to do okay. I might take a gamble on this, as I currently use a corded trimmer and clipper and want to go cordless on a single device. Do you still use this and still recommend it? Thanks
Much appreciated. Glad it was a helpful video. Yes I currently use the Brio every cut and trim session. I use it mostly for cutting my hair down on my head and zero blade for the neck beard area. I don’t use it to line up the cheekline to often now. But it’s definitely dependable for that as well. Especially soft cheek lines.
They actually have a whole kit now for $99 and it comes with the zero blade and a really nice case that holds everything in place, along with their travel case. So that's two cases! I'm just wishing we could get all of that and have their black version, but it comes with the gray and black version trimmers.
I would first try to use it flat in upwards motion. Depending on hair texture, you won’t get a super crisp line anyway in my opinion by using it the opposite way where the teeth are directly on your face. I’ve been shaving and cutting the hair on my face for over 25 years, so my skin isn’t very sensitive to them at all. Hope this helps 💯🍻👊🏽
Nice review man! Nice review! Would the Brio Beardscape be a good choice for beard stubble trimming? I currently have a few stubble trimmers (ConAir and Wahl) and they have tons of adjustments. I use the 0.8mm to 1.2mm settings to maintain my short stubble and the base blade to trim side burns and cheek/neck lineups. What is the lowest setting? Does the blade work for side burn trimming and cheek/neck lineups?
Thames bro. Yeah it should be pretty good for stubble. They have the zero blade now. I believe different texture beards react differently as for cheek “sharp” lineups etc. but the hair removal is good overall. 0.2mm.
@@Bdacht Great. I am going to order the Beardscape trimmer and zero blade. My current trimmers aren’t cutting it. I’ll set the stock blade at 1.0-1.2mm for the close stubble look and use the Beardscape Zero Blade for detailing.
Are you using it flat against the surface or teeth first like a lineup ? I use the zero blade I got separate for close shaves and balding the head. The kit blade it comes with doesn’t get close enough for me.
@@ROFO79 for hair cut and beard maintenance in general, I recommend the Andis Master. For crispy cheekline lineups and hair removal faster, I recommend the Andis Slim line pro. Or any Andis liner after you zero gap the blades. 🍻🍻👊🏽

LumpVision yeah I definitely like the coverage from the width of the blade to knock the hair off quicker. I also like the fading capabilities, it’s definitely a clipper first, not a liner. So with that said it’s on par in my opinion to any fading clipper. Just a few less adjustable features. Usually with manual adjusting clippers, you can be in the middle of a length etc. if that makes sense. Much appreciated bro 💯👊🏽🍻
