I want to comment on the lovely furniture you find and hope you can leave more of it in its found original form with its patina of age. After it has been altered by painting it will never be able to reveal it's story that it had before. I have trust in your appreciatiation of these pieces and hope this sensitivity halts the urge you have to cover them in paint in your future endeavors. Restoration is a valid persuit that I admire. It can be a thoughtful delicate balance which preserves a beautiful piece without covering it up. What do you think ?
I loved your segment on the papier dresses and other creations. These are taking a reference from the traditional designs and making a new product that you both can bring to our attention in your vlog. Thank you et merci beaucoup.

Bonjour Penni. Yes we like to keep some furniture as we found it, but sadly a lot has been damaged and cannot be repaired well enough so we give them a new life by painting them and fixing the rotten pieces that have been neglected for so long. We have a selection of wooden and painted. Thanks for watching and also your comments x

Sorry it's taken so long to reply. We had to use a special spray ( highly toxic I'm thinking) and we had to use it quite a few times as they kept coming back! I think winter may have killed them but we will see when we get back there. Thanks so much for watching x

How do you choose at the antiques market?? So many lovely things! The gothic cathedral is absolutely stunning.
It is very difficult with so many beautiful things. We have a formula for the shop so we know how much we can spend on each item to be able to on-sell it. We buy what we ´can’t live without’ for the house lol. within reason Xx

Actually if you look at it in reality it’s an 80’s fake shiny brick. I would def keep it if it was the old lovely antique tiles. Loads of other things to do first though xx 😘

R u going to take the tiles up, or lay a wooden floor over them. Because any removal of the tiles would probably ruin that wallpaper.
