- In today's video unpack with me in our master bedroom! I have lots of laundry to organize into our master closet. Here is some weekend cleaning motivation to get you ready for the week ahead!
I have to run around to some stores to find a bedding set and organizers to suit this new closet and make it the best function wise for James and I. There is still sooo much to do here but its nice to be able to finally be moved in going about our day and having comfy places to sleep again. It feels like it's going to take until the start of spring to get organized. Our laundry room is the main thing that needs done besides the air, it has been so full of laundry I have not been able to see the floor until this day. I am thinking of throwing out a lot of blankets also. we are need of new since the kids are older now and there is actually 2 couch beds here I have to clean and put new bedding on. I have been filming videos as I go along with cleaning and organizing so I apologize if the videos have not all been as long but I didnt want you to wait a longer time to see updates so hope you enjoy!

Thank you! That was one of the things that kept us looking for a home. We just didn’t want a lot of “work” or Reno’s to do so we could just enjoy the space. I love the feel here. We are adding our own flavor throughout but it has amazing bones as is. Really happy we found it.
Momlikely honestly that solid wood storage bed is such a rare find you have an awesome bed! You might want to change the headboard one day for a change but don't get rid of that base it's amazing and beds are not made as well these days and cost astronomical ! I Love Your content and very happy for this new chapter for your family!

One day if you decide to paint it, i would splurge on Beyond Paint. Easy to use, paintbrush in the corners , then roll the flat parts. Self leveling.

We need new bedding too. I’ve been thinking about splurging on some nice bedding. I’m leaning more towards Casaluna at target, with posh peanut (they only have two and they are pretty “girly”) next and rest (like almost $700 for the full king size set 🤢 but it’s supposed to be great for hot sleepers like we are) last.
I love that you answered my question about the micro fridge right as I thought about it, lol. "Don't they have a full fridge downstairs?" 😂
Love your bedroom set. I love the storage underneath. Girl, when you told Alexa to turn the lights green. My Alexa started talking. I was cracking up 😂 😂😂.

I’m like you. I spend very little on my Children’s clothes while they are small and go up a size year. When clothing starts to matter to their esteem as they get older etc I will then invest in better pieces

White shelving cupboards are good for shoe storage. You could buy them to fit underneath your hanging rail

If you are thinking of throwing out a lot of your blankets and sheets, animal shelters usually take them for the animals.

Hey hey!!! I don’t like folding clothes either. I like to hang all my clothes. I have like leggings and tshirts folded, oh and undergarments but regular clothes are hung. Me being me, I’d have to unfold each pair of jeans to see which ones I want then I’d throw it if I didn’t have time to fold it. If it’s hung I can just see it. 🤣🤣🤣
Yes I agree. That’s why I love file folding my pants because I can see them easily. When my kids were little I sorted them into drawers like pants, shirts etc and didn’t fold them either lol

I have the same bed as you but in a queen size. I love it because of all the storage, but omg it's a pain to move since it is insanely heavy. House is looking awesome so far!

One thing with this is one of the drawer tracks is dirty and I need to figure out how to clean that. When is
@@MomLikely my drawer tracks got all sorts of jacked up last time I had to move the bed. I had to replace all the tracks recently just to get the drawers to close.
@katieingram3726 really. That may need some on the one drawer. It almost sounds like sand is in the track when it opens and closes
@@MomLikely yes!!! The tracks have little balls in them and when one of the little balls gets stuck it causes damage.

If you're near a Ross Dress For Less Store or dd's discounts then check out their bedding selection, they also have good pricing on their pillows. They do in the south anyway. HomeGoods is a bit pricier, Beall's and Burlington are comparable to Ross. I don't pay full price for anything if I don't have to lol

I have one of those mini fridges too but mine is black and I used to keep mini waters in it but I drink water so much it just seemed useless so now I keep skincare products in it 😂😂😂😂

If you are looking to add a central air system the summer is the worst time because the prices will be at the highest point because the demand for it is high. Right now would be the time to get it installed when their business is slow and they need the customers.
And if you're looking to buy anything for your house Black Friday, would be the most ideal time because that's when appliances are low furniture and bedding is low. Everything you possibly want is going to be at its lowest point between Black Friday and Christmas.
I wish we could now but we had to get a privacy fence first because of our dogs so the budget has to wait until summer. We won’t be doing hvac though so it will be cheaper but your right summer prices will increase cost
When buying furniture, do your best to buy when on sale. Look for Estate Sales and up scale Thrift stores. Just so you don’t have to pay full price.
I REALLY want to thrift some pieces for the sun room for sure. My office needs some attention to but not sure what to do yet. I need a bigger desk to start. We have checked good will this week but no luck. We have many thrift shops so we will see. Someone suggested furniture fabric painting. Looks so cool

I love to watch clothes declutter. I was wondering around 14:14 when you've had that pile of clothes next to the bag and other clothes in the box, is neither of those pile were clothes to toss or it was all for donation ? I always hope to see people finaly film while discarding clothes as it's something I struggle so much, but everyone always seems do declutter those off cameras.
