When I am in Manila for a holiday, I go visit Fort Santiago in Intramuros and the Manila Cathedral. Thanks for the tour, I'll remember to see Casa Manila next time and dine at Barbara's restaurant
Super ganda ng Casa Manila. Iba ang feels ng lugar na 'yan, para akong napupunta sa ibang bansa at ibang panahon. 😍 Barbara's Resto is surprisingly affordable despite its classy/fancy interiors. They also serve yummy Filipino/Spanish cuisines. May singing trio pa sila na magse-serenade sa inyo while dining. It's an amazing experience po. ❤ Thaank you for another worth-watching video, Sir Fern. 🙂
Palagi po namin nadadaanan yang area na yan kapag nagbivisita iglesia kami taon-taon pero hindi po namin nakikita yang loob, madalas namin isipin " ano kayang itsura sa loob nyan?".. Maraming salamat po sa pagpapasilip sa amin kung gaano kaganda yung loob.

Casa manila resembles Calle crisologo in vigan. Truly a blast from the past. San Agustin church is still there that brings back good memories every time I will take my final exams during my college heyday. Thank you for taking us here. We really enjoyed watching. God bless and safe travels 😊

I really felt it when you said that Casa Manila was like being back in Calle Crisologo in Vigan. Another reminder of the unfathomable loss of Manila's architectural and cultural heritage during WW2. Imagine having a Casa Manila in every street a la Starbucks and then suddenly, poof! All gone. Thank you for bringing up the issue of recording people without their consent. Being out in public doesn't automatically mean you give up your right to be anonymous. There are always exceptions. If in doubt, point the camera away or just turn it off.

Sayang talaga ang INTRAMUROS ang laki ng potential sa tourism industry imagine located within Manila. The problem is the security. May mga informal settlers kasi sa loob.Kaya during my time working as a Head Concierge in a hotel if ever may ng pa book sa akin for touring dyan i suggest not to bring jewelries and extra precautions to their belonging. Bakit kaya di sila ma relocate?
It had been relocated during the centennial celebration they use to occupy the outside wall near the Lyceum of the Philippines but the problem they keep coming back the Intrmuros administration should buy the lots where the illegal settlers occupying and extend the Plaza San Luis Complex

This part of Intramuros was develope by the former first lady of the Philippines Imelda Romouldez Marcos as the Primary project of the Newly establish Intramuros Administration together with Governor Jaime Laya of Central Bank of the Philippines 10 old houses were bought in The nearby district of Binondo dismantled and transfered in Intramuros as a building materials Architect Faustman did the architectural plan base on different architectural style during the Spanish era Casa Manila is a replica base on an 1850 style of house once standing in Calle Jabonero in Binondo Casa Hidalgo now Barbara Restaurant is a 17th century style of Philippine Spanish era house while the Green house is base on an 1880's style of Philippine architecture a modification of Bahay na Bato base on the prevailing style in Europe called Art Nouveau means flowing line base on plant form new Matetial introduce like galvanize iron sheet for roofing pane class window and etch glass wrought iron grills imported from Belgium the only country at that time that has a knowledge in wrought iron making Casa Manila 's interior was base on the 1880's style and even the Duch lamp shades popular at that time imported from the Netherland The entire Complex is called Plaza San Luis the name derived from the Barrios of Intramuros the Original Plan were a recreation of 8 periodical houses that house various shops, restaurant a studio a Museum of life style Curio shop and antique shops in Spanish era Intramuros setting actually it's an arcade in historic style setting. Casa Blanco and the White kinght Hotel was a later addition I'm hoping that Plaza San Luis will Expand in the remaining lots occupied by illegal settlers with over head bridges as connecting way or a tunnel in varous style of Bahay na Bato the early houses in Intramuros were bricks hope I will see this if this complex will expand
