      The best way to cut looses is to raise your take profit. the pair gbp/jpy has 60 pip moves every day. Also your forex stop loss should never be higher than 20 pips. But yes like Doyle said you have to get the experience. I’m a extremely fast learner and I still needed experience.

    • @iINFINITEAIRE
      @iINFINITEAIRE ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @doyle your account is big enough to make over 10k a day your 10 pip is 3k so your 50 pip is 15k and GJ give those moves everyday. I also see you trading multiple pairs I noticed being patient focusing on one pair is more consistent.

    I agree that it’s an experience thing. I’m about a year and a half in and this is a real struggle. I let losses run too long, cut winners too soon and cut a loser too fast and it immediately turns back around and would have been a winner.
    I think time and experience is key and only taking high probability trades and not rushing them.

    More immediately than a collapse in the stock or real estate markets, inflation directly impacts people's standard of life. It is hardly surprising that the present market attitude is so negative. If we are to live in this economy, we are in dire need of assistance. ETF and stock markets are still unpredictably volatile, just like the housing market. My $370,000 portfolio has been reduced to rubble.

      Especially because their expertise is centred on short- and long-term holdings for profit realisation and because of their distinctive research, it is nearly impossible for them to underperform, I prefer to seek the advise of financial consultants when making my daily investment decisions. My consultant and I have been investing together for a little over two years and we have already produced sizeable net profits.

      My Financial Consultant is *ROCHELLE DUNGCA-SCHREIBER* . I found her on a Kiyosaki interview where she was featured and reached out to her afterwards. She has since provided entry and exit points on the securities I focus on. You can run a quick online search with her name if you care for supervision. I basically follow her market moves and haven’t regretted doing so.

    I had to sub bro!. I thought I was crazy for wanting to cut my losses right after price would trigger my buy/sell stop just to reverse to my stop . Yes the main thing that’s stoping my from doing it is the one time I tried it that was a winning trade as you mentioned, but 9/10 times I have a chance to cut my loss short, but my question is instead of cutting the stop short half way , why not just have a a tight stop loss at that same spot you plan to exit if the trade reverses?. Isn’t it the same ?

    • @dee23gaming
      @dee23gaming ปีที่แล้ว

      It might wick out, then go your favour, or price might range and then whipsaw around your entry before going into profit, so having a tight hard stop is not the way to go. Just set a TradingView alert at the level you think price should not cross and close.

    I have to write this commend , I just need to open myself to somebody …
    Im 20 yo , doing trading for 2 years . Didnt make a single penny all these years , spent too much money on it . Working like nobody does on this world 100% . Im on charts every dan and night at least 5-10 hours , there was not a single day off .. Also startred my second job this week , work on construction and another job , booth really tough and hard for the body , I think today I pushed the limits , worked too much so I got sick … today I had a mental breakdown , where I sat hours long in my car listening to music and just thinking about everything … so tired of everything , I just hope I can stay mentally strong to win this game , but man its tough.. Im lonely , nobody to talk about my problems with , people makin fun of me .. just tired of everything , would like if I could just disapeare for couple years and live somewhere wehere there is nobody .. somewhere in the mountines , thats what I need .
    Brothers keep pushing , I have to think a bit about my life because this cant work like this anymore. ❤

      For now do not trade 1:1 risk to reward. trade the supply and demand that Doyle teaches, but always have a 2% reward and your risk should be 1%, so basically a 2 to 1 risk to reward! A lot of trading legends like Mark Douglas or Al Brooks says the markets is basically usually 50% bearish and 50% bullish most of the time(ranging), but around 30% of the time you can predict a move with a 70-90% accuracy winrate. So basically as long as you always makes sure that your take profit is twice as big as your stoploss, a 2:1 risk to reward, then you can basically know nothing about price action(a 50% winrate trader) and still be profitable after months of taking the same looking trades , if you stick to whatever strategy you choose. the problem is that when you lose 4 trades in a row, you must not worry and change the strategy because your risk to reward is 2 to 1 and over time it will protect you and you will come out profitable!

    Works well. No harm done losing a very small amount really, well as long as you are entering with a good idea of what you think the market may do. Currently let them hit my break even sometimes before they rip if I'm questioning the trade at all, if I can really tell it's going to move for sure without a bunch of noise then I will be more patient with changing SL.

    On the GBPUSD trade if you look at the 10m chart it was a 8,10,&14 period MFI bearish divergence. Then 10m did the first LL break of structure after a bunch of HHs and HLs. And MFI 8,10,14 did the first clear -50 after a bearish divergence. Also, for cutting the loss early, you can do 5m chart closing under the 5EMA as a clearer way to cut the loss earlier. For the NAS100U, it was the same situation. on 10m chart it was a 8,10,&14 period MFI bullish divergence. Then 10m did the 1st HH break of structure after a bunch of LLs and LHs with the MFI8,10,14 doing the 1st clear +50 after the divergence. For the XAU trade or any trade in general, if you enter with a 2m candle opening and closing above coefficient 2 chandelier, it'll filter out some losing trades. For example, at 1140 2m had a whole candle open and close above coefficient 2 chandelier, which would've been a much better entry.

    And London session usually takes out Asian session highs/lows… for obvious reasons.
    I usually spot the start of the trend and leave a runner but NY usually takes it out.
    Have you considered trading London session or is that unrealistic due to your time zone?
