You Americans are so lucky... Wilderness combined with European-like aura of Autumn. I saw many other videos reflecting the natural beauty of US. I visited your country briefly (2 weeks) in December 2023. I visted New York, Washington and San Diego. I was shocked to learn that my vision of the US (fed by Hollywood movies, news and YT feeds) was very distant from the reality that I experienced. Now my dream is to earn enough of money to go there and to travel through your country, to experience those hikes, towns, places, natural wonders etc. I had visited many countries, but the US was the best. OK, let's stop this emotional flow. The trail you have documented is very well secured (chains, steel steps, markings). I have moderate fear of heights, but would not be afraid of walking there. The views are breathtaking, especially in Autumn. Your hike would be qualified as a "photographic trip" for a professional photographer. In less words, I would definitely go there if my US trip for 3 months became reality. Thank you for your video!
Wow, such a beautiful hike but I had major anxiety just watching you guys do it. Also, I love the dedication of James clinging to a literal cliff and still stopping to take cute pictures of you. This is the kind of dedication I expect from my husband now 🤣

Looking back, it was definitely a lot more sketchy than we made it out to be! lol Can't make mistakes climbing a ladder on the side of a mountain! But do admit it was one of the most beautiful views & so worth it! 🧡
I can’t begin to tell you how much I loved your Acadia videos! I am fast approaching my 70th birthday and just going out to get the mail is a tricky adventure these days. But back in October,1990, my then fiancé and I spent a week on Mt Desert Island during peak foliage season. It was a New England Indian summer and we were in tee shirts all week.We decided to do the Precipice Trail,too! I had forgotten about some parts of it,but your climb reminded me of how challenging it was! But when we reached the top,the feeling of accomplishment was so wonderful! We had not done much hiking before that trip. Sadly,that fiancé is now my ex,but sharing that experience with someone I loved,will be a FOREVER happy memory!! I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed being a small part of your Acadia adventures! I hit the “subscribe” button so I am looking forward to watching more of your travels! This year I’m hoping to visit in early October… fingers crossed for nice color. You guys made me want to try the Precipice trail but I don’t think I could convince my boyfriend to do it! 😂

You should start to see some of the leaves changing by then! 🍁 Look into the Beehive hike and see if that is one that may be okay for you guys! It's another challenging hike, but I don't believe as tough as Precipice. Still really great views!

Yeah, look up the sleeping bear dunes area with the dune climb hike (bring water), traverse city, Petoskey, Mackinac Island, and pictured rocks. It's in the northern Michigan area. Grand rapids, Kalamazoo, South haven, Warren dunes and Ann Arbor are cool too.
I loved both parts of this trip to Bar Harbor! I would not have done the Precipice trail. Whew! That looked scary and I used to rock climb in my 20s. I was hoping you guys had a video for Boston but I dont see one. Our trip this summer will be to Bar Harbor/Acadia and then down to Boston. Did you do a video there and I just missed it? thanks again! I have to go do Travellin Lobster!
Thanks so much for watching! The Precipice Trail was definitely the most dangerous one we've ever done. But the views were definitely worth it! We did go down to Boston at the end of the Salem video. We were only there for a couple hours and had to get over to NYC. We want to go back and explore more extensively though because it is very beautiful from what we saw. Thank you again for watching!
Honestly, I can't remember where we got it. It was in one of the random stores downtown. A lot of the places had deals going on because middle of October is basically the end of the year for them. There should be some good shopping available when you guys are there!

Thanks so much for watching! Our trip was from Oct 11-23. It was a 2 weeks trip, but the Vermont, NH, & Maine videos are from Oct 11 - 18. I would recommend maybe a week sooner for perfect timing on Leaves. We were kind of in the middle & missed some peak in New Hampshire
What month did you go to Bar Harbor? My husband and I want to go the last week of November, but we want to make sure that it's a good idea to go around that time?
We were there the 15-18 of October. It may be worth it to check if November may be too late for Bar Harbor. They were starting to shut things down for the season in the area when we were there, so it may be fully shut down at that point.
If you want to visit maine You have to accept that fog will happen and that its part of the charm. And fog happens at any time of year, at any point during the day.
