Last year I had a falling out with a friend a coworker who I was in love with for 5 years probably my mistake for holding on to that for the longest.
She had a boyfriend and I did my best not to cross any lines and I didn't at least I didn't cross any lines that I didn't notice.
But she finally figured out that I had feelings for her and we parted ways.
What hurts the most is that her boyfriend has been in prison twice works off the books has no income and uses her as a source of income and the reason why I'm thinking about her right now is because next month is April and the 4th is her birthday.
I knew it would never happen between us but I was hoping that I was wrong.
I don't hate her I'm just disappointed that she lowers herself to be just an accessory for a guy who doesn't appreciate her as a woman.
But the fact is is that she would rather be with a degenerate a convict, that says more about her personality than his.
I don't want to be with a woman who treats me like garbage but I definitely don't want to be with a woman who thinks of herself as trash.
I haven't gone back to her I haven't called her I haven't even thought about calling her but sometimes especially around this month when I spent 5 years just trying to be there it hurts.
