Star power that has nearly killed him being used, makes him very worn out when used more moderately, and has powerful overlords that can destroy planets on a whim if they feel the power is being used poorly to the point he is scared to use it unless completely backed into a corner and fears he will die.
At least with magic he doesn't need to be seconds from death before he pulls it out to defend himself or others. He can train safely and use it the moment he is even threatened without fear that an astral will look at him and decide to kill him and his family for it.

Sun just has to make sure that he pronounces the spells correctly. (and not get too angry that it causes him to tap into the magic and destroy everything around him.) We all know what happened when he did that, and we don't want a repeat of that.

I feel like the reason that SaMs was turning into something new is because the new moon changed the channel a bit or changed the feel of it
I still think that the original Eclipse is still alive. Remember, Sun mispronounced the spell to eject Eclipse out of his body. And Moon said that because of that, he messed up the spell, even though Sun succeeded in getting Eclipse out of his body. Moon guessed that Eclipse was either dead, or he's out in the woods somewhere, but unable to move. Sun and Moon never went to the woods to confirm this. So, it's still a possibility that the Original Eclipse is still out there, alive.
that would be interesting. An Eclipse who never got the star, who never even got his own body. Who never was made to work for Killcode. An Eclipse who never killed Lunar, etc. He wouldn't even have the memory of any of those things.
After two years, would a mangled Eclipse even still be functional? Then again, we only ever saw Eclipse 2.0 (the one that was blown up in Solar's dimension) in the Purgatory place that Vegeta went to, so the first Eclipse either is still out there or has properly been sent to Hell.
Ohhhh I've always thought this too! And it seems like all the originals are finally together. We got Sun, OG moon, Lunar isn't dead, Earth got her new body, Solar is coming back. It's be cool to see OG eclipse come in
@@gundamgamer7060 well magic is involved, and the spell was mispronounced, so there's no telling what could have happened. Maybe someone found and repaired him, maybe his battery ran out and it just needs to be charged. Or, because he can't move, his battery didn't run out and he's just been laying there, contemplating and reflecting on everything that happened what he had done. Also! Keep in mind that Eclipse did not have a physical body of his own when he was forcefully ejected from Sun's body by the magic spell. So, Eclipse might have manifested a body out of sheer willpower and determination. (though there's a chance that it's possibly deformed because of both the magic and the sudden ejection.) and he's unable to move because he doesn't have a proper physical body. There are many scenarios. But who really knows? We won't know if anything has happened to the Original Eclipse because Sun and Moon never went to the woods to confirm if he was there or not. We might never know.
@@maddisonkelso6425 I know, right! For 2 whole years and the Original Eclipse has had all that time to think and reflect on everything that happened and what he had done. Who knows? Maybe he's changed for the better. (or not, I don't really know.) plus, I personally think that the Original Eclipse deserves his own redemption arc. Or maybe he's moved on from everything and living a peaceful life.

Finally, Sun gets to learn magic properly, and moon is helping him and that’s absolutely adorable. They’re slowly building their relationship back up, also I have completely forgotten about Nexus’ drones, but it seems like moon was the first to find it besides from eclipse and him telling lunar but Moon is not gonna be happy

I also have to say Sun unintentionally changing Moon into a Goose instead of making a spark in his hand is amazing, Moon just honking too on compulsion was great too. Ahhh, if only Earth was there to bare witness to Goose Moon haha, at least the transformation back to normal for Moon went well without a problem!

I understand that magic is a bit challenging, but I wish Sun wasn't so afraid of it. Also, I know he's a lot smarter than he leads on to be. I wish he was confident in learning new things. Just because you don't don't understand them doesn't mean it's all bad.
