God i love all xross saber jingles. It sounds so majestic like it's this grand appearance of a savior. Fun fact: xross saber as of now is the longest jingle in kamen rider, beating the likes of grand zi-o and even geiz majesty
The closer that a trinket gets to fully **singing** with harmony and a little rhyme the more it works on me It's why Saber has some of my favorite jingles, there's so much LIFE to them. Edit: Emotional Dragon is LITERALLY the one I was thinking of when I wrote this XD
Kamen rider jingle can be a double edge sword, on one hand it sound catchy, felt really good to listen, and pretty much enchanched an epic moment in the franchised. But on the other hand, it can be eargrinding to listen, and sometimes the jingles can ruined some serious moment in the franchise.
I thought Blade came first before Decade in terms of the amount of sound effects for the toys. The Rouse Cards gives different unique announcements, as well as a special announcement if you swipe in a specific 2 or 3 card combo (e.g. "Lighting Sonic", "Spinning Dance").

I'd say my favourites from the heisei era would probably be mighty creator vrx and a fan favourite hyper muteki oh yeah and a bonus definitely the greese blizzard I absolutely love that one hands down on of my favourites
The only time i would say the henshin sounds went a bit too much was in Saber but thats mainly just the books and not the actual henshin but still those did go hand in hand so
So in terms of the Saber driver sounds, I have a theory that when I finally get conversational in Japanese I'll like it more cause the whole theme is storytelling. I don't know for sure but it's the hope I have for also liking the series later, as I currently get bored with the series after 4 episodes every time.
My honest opinion: Zero-One has basically the perfect jingle length and style. Like, that's my favorite style. Announcement of some type (JUMP!) Jingle (TO- BIA-GA RISE! RISING HOPPER!) Short descriptive phrase (A jump to the sky turns to a Rider Kick!) At least two of those if not all three, in any order. Special transformations get an obvious bias for a longer one sometimes due to the specialness of them.
Gaims make a lot of sense when you think of the whole stage part. It's Sengoku ear. Big, loud, overblown stage movements in plays were their thing, and that's part of the theme of performance.
honestly my favorite thing about Build's jingles is how at first it's like, oh haha the belt asks you "are you ready", that's cute but then things get increasingly traumatizing for the protagonists, and then the "are you ready" call is played for dramatic effect, like the belt's really asking them if they're up to keep fighting even though things are gonna get worse
My favorite bit is from the be the one movie where it asks "Are you Ready!?" and banjou straight-up says "NO, I'M NOT" before being caught up in cross-z build

Mighty Brothers XX's henshin (the one where they split, not the one where they're still one) and Grateful are the most memorable jingles for me off the top of my head, but Grand Zi-O and Geiz Majesty are definitely fun.
To me, its a balance between iconic, catchy, and complicated. Think Kabuto, W, Gaim, Ex-Aid, Build, Zero-One, or Geats. Each is instantly recognizable, unique, and just long enough to stick without being unbearable. Of course, the best standby will ALWAYS be Woz. IWAE!
The thing about fourze I like is the countdown. I don't think I've heard any other belt count down to your transformation, it builds up hype before the reveal. It's not the best belt by far, but I find the best jingle are always the ones that hype you up like "WHAT'S COMING UP?!" or "ARE YOU READY?!", like they're telling the audience something amazing will happen or encourage them to cheer! Imagine a martial arts themed kamen rider and the standby was different kinds of crowd cheering; like they're at a tournament. It's why I love it when movies and games include similar things like pokemon did in sword and shield's gyms. Get ready, for a spectacular battle!
The one jingle I have to call out as my absolute favorite has got to be Geiz Majesty. While the standby for it was ok, once he transformed, the song that they played was just all kinds of epic. It was just them calling out the secondary rider names, but the buildup as they came to the end of the list and held out "Kamennnn Riderrrr....Geiz Majesty!" was just perfect. I jumped through a few hoops to make sure I got that ride watch for the collection, right besides the Oma Zi-O driver (another good sound there too).
Tokimeki Crisis is a cuteness overload to me. It has Poppys voice yet it has this sense of action from the music that u have to somewhat find it intimidating and strong.
The Gaim announcements are some of my favourites - especially the Energy riders. For Ex-Aid, Poppy's Tokimeki Crisis jingle is soooo good. Other personal faves include Meteor, Paradx, Rogue, Woz, and Thouser.
I do like the Ex-Aid jingles BTW, I mostly just made the alternate jingles videos (which I was honestly surprised did as well as they did but didn't do nearly as well when I tried to move them to my non-content channel) as a tribute to both Ex-Aid and the history of video games.

I happen to love Ex-aids designs and jingles, they were trying for fun and goofy designs for their doctor story, possibly to reflect the sense of wonder to actual children in hospitals, when in recovery or surgery, you need something to give you strength, a fun and childish design with a story practically pointed at you and the people trying to help you will fill you with strength and wonder, and the will to keep pushing forward, and *'Clear this level with no continues!'* , aka that surgery or your next check-up, to not give up, when others are trying so hard for your sake! *Life is Beautiful!* *You can try together* with others like you to be strong and recover! How do y’all feel about Jingles that are just the names of the riders instead of the names of the forms. Ex A) Zi-o riders & Revice riders all name drop themselves in their Jingles. Ex B) Xross Saber does say “Saber” but it doesn’t say “kamen rider saber” and feels less like a name drop and more of the form’s name. Imo, I don’t like the direct name drop and much prefer the jingle being related to the form rather than the specific rider.
I agree with Xross Saber being one of the best jingles, but I find it a shame that it's connected to what is essentially a repaint of the base form. Not to mention the fact that it uses the same book and lackluster belt, as it just adds insult to injury.

I binged watches ex-aid and its side and post series content in 2 days and it might be the first kamen rider season i rewatch i absoluetly love that season but not more than OOO's but it is very close
I thought gazer is just gazer, the one who has 2 is glare (by chirami, rip blud) Imo, geats mark 9 will prob be the best one for me since mark 3 made me wanna listen over and over again. Previously i love zeronos jingle and den o's climax form. Now gazer has amazing catchy tune just like woz
Now, I can confidently say that everything about Xross Saber is top notch, EXCEPT his form (belt also, it's meh looking at best, but WRB is fun gimmick for me, escpecially those 3 vol. Combo)
Man I gotta disagree. OOO’s sounds are the longest sounds that I can take for it to still be cool. Zero One, build, Zio, and ExAid’s sounds aren’t pleasing to my ear. And Kiva’s I think works the best because Kivat is actually living so everything makes sense, like I don’t understand how a Lockseed makes all that noise kinda ruins immersion for me. I say my top rider jingles would be from kiva, Fourze, OOO, W, drive and Decade all of them don’t have many words and I think the sounds are all purposeful and badass.
Grand Geiz Jingle is exactly as it should be imo where its almost as good as Grand ZiOh but not on the same level, same as how ZiOh is better than Gaiz but Gaiz is very close Too bad the Suit Design is fungly as heck
Personally, I think the Geiz Majesty jingle is a little better than the Grand Zi-O one. Mostly because with Grand it sounds like the voice is trying to get all the Rider names out as fast as it can, while Majesty takes it slow enough to do a breakdown from Birth to Brave. Of course, they're both fantastic regardless. Xross Saber's jingle just gets better every time, man. Especially when you start looking into what's actually being said and combine it with some of the imagery. The web of swords falling from the sky, an all-powerful miracle from the stars, here to rewrite the story. Makes me wish the start of the season was as good as the later half.
My only favorite announcements from Reiwa other than Geats is Zero-One drivers stating what the progrise keys could do. Like "Fangs that can chomp through concrete" or like "Enough power to annihilate a mountain"

Imo, geats mark 9 will prob be the best one for me since mark 3 made me wanna listen over and over again. Previously i love zeronos jingle and den o's climax form. Now gazer has amazing catchy tune just like woz
One thing that I notice about the Zero one belt voice is that it sounds very similar to Kanji Tang (English va for Gojo and Ichiban)
Now, I can confidently say that everything about Xross Saber is top notch, EXCEPT his form (belt also, it's meh looking at best, but WRB is fun gimmick for me, escpecially those 3 vol. Combo)
Man I gotta disagree. OOO’s sounds are the longest sounds that I can take for it to still be cool. Zero One, build, Zio, and ExAid’s sounds aren’t pleasing to my ear. And Kiva’s I think works the best because Kivat is actually living so everything makes sense, like I don’t understand how a Lockseed makes all that noise kinda ruins immersion for me. I say my top rider jingles would be from kiva, Fourze, OOO, W, drive and Decade all of them don’t have many words and I think the sounds are all purposeful and badass.

Grand Geiz Jingle is exactly as it should be imo where its almost as good as Grand ZiOh but not on the same level, same as how ZiOh is better than Gaiz but Gaiz is very close
Too bad the Suit Design is fungly as heck
Personally, I think the Geiz Majesty jingle is a little better than the Grand Zi-O one. Mostly because with Grand it sounds like the voice is trying to get all the Rider names out as fast as it can, while Majesty takes it slow enough to do a breakdown from Birth to Brave. Of course, they're both fantastic regardless.
Xross Saber's jingle just gets better every time, man. Especially when you start looking into what's actually being said and combine it with some of the imagery. The web of swords falling from the sky, an all-powerful miracle from the stars, here to rewrite the story. Makes me wish the start of the season was as good as the later half.
My fav jingles are drive tridoron and ex-aid muteki

Kamen rider saber emotional dragon song is a banger and I will stand on that hill and so is saber elemental dragon

My only favorite announcements from Reiwa other than Geats is Zero-One drivers stating what the progrise keys could do. Like "Fangs that can chomp through concrete" or like "Enough power to annihilate a mountain"
