@YYZGIRL Let's Stick to the facts. The attacked an occupying force. And there were thousands of Palestinians imprisoned before Oct 7. Among them children, many of them without proper trials. This has been going on for decades. Children abducted by the military in the middle of the night, their parents not knowing why and where they were taken. Peaceful resistance activists declared terrorists and imprisoned. There is nobody that controls this, nobody that helps them get justice. The Isareli hostages were taken, so Palestinians hostages could be freed in exchange. Either try finding the empathy to understand this or keep your Hasbara to yourself.

He is; and he later admitted that what he wrote was wrong. Find me some details about the supposed Palestinian lands: how were they governed, what currency did they use?
I listened to a 2-hour interview with Aviva, who detailed the horrors of her captivity and it was terrifying. I am so glad her husband made it home. But the rest of the hostages mustn't have to wait a minute longer to be released. I feel that the Israeli government has stood in the way and made it harder for them to be released. Biden had a good deal that got delayed because of BeBe and the election and deserves credit for the work he did.

Compassion is not a one-way thing. Of course the hostages suffered trauma, and had a rough time during their captivity. And of course this was waged in Gaza brings suffering to the people of Israel, and they deserve the world's compassion. But in the meantime, around the hostages and above them, the equivalent of several Hiroshima bombings were dropped, 800+ infants less than 1 year old were slaughtered, children's limbs were ripped off, people were burned alive, others suffocated or were crushed under the rubble, and all this on a daily basis. So now you wish that all those who see this and show a normal human response of horror and compassion, may never sleep at night? Because of everything Israel has done to the Palestinians..?
