SORC / WORN - RIDGE RUNNER IN HOLLAND GA - 30+C 12/4/22

Had a great start on this one, got the holeshot out of 31 riders on my row. I kept the lead a lot longer than I expected. The conditions were muddy and I wasn't sure how fast to go but I guess I did good because I was still in first at the end of the first lap. I'm not used to empty track at the beginning of a race, I'm normally always following someone. Fatigue and hand cramps were bad by the end of the five laps and I ended up finishing 7th.

Looks like a lot of riders lost at 13:35..I just looked through the first lap times of everyone in the morning races and no one had an abnormal lap time so it must have not been a benefit.
