Lack of greenery. I like a house with a lot of grass and nice landscape; not a concrete jungle. Nice house, but no space for grass. Artificial grass is small areas, not my cup of tea.
Completely agree with you on this. You find this problem across much of Ghana’s new homes, where very little room is made for landscaping or greenery-I understand driveways being tarred or tiled but most builds do not design for that as we do not build garages and tile most of the front section of homes to accommodate multiple cars. With the reality of big walls and gates, I guess there isn’t much to be considered when it comes to curb appeal. We generally do not account for landscaping in both commercial/residential units across Accra. It presents an opportunity to introduce fresh concepts into the market though.
