  • Security system disarm via emergency override.
If we’ve installed an aftermarket security system including alarm & engine immobilisation to your vehicle which relies on either your OE manufacturers vehicle remote control or one of our ‘driver recognition cards’ to disarm, there may be a time where in the event of loss or failure of either of the aforementioned you need to disarm the system via the emergency override PIN code procedure.
Each system has its own unique 4 digit PIN code which at the time of installation we can customise to your own preferred memorable number if required.
Each system also has an ‘emergency override panel’ which your Autosparx installation technician will reveal to you at the time of handover after any installation.
The emergency override panel incorporates both a visual status red LED next to a small button.
Entering your own PIN code via the button & corresponding LED flashes, the system will disarm on entry of the last digit allowing the vehicle to be started if engine immobilisation is included within your system’s initial specification.
Don’t worry if you enter an incorrect digit, just enter again… the system will disarm once the last digit in the system’s pre programmed PIN number sequence has been entered.

this channel is saving my ass.
i bought a used car, with a cobra security sistem.
but i didn't knew. i thought it was a factory thing. not an aftermark security sistem.
i just figured because i'm trying to get a car keyfob sincronyzed to the security sistem.
But it's proving to be harder then expected.
    i have two questions:
can i pair any car remote key to the cobra alarm system? or does it have to be specifically one of the fobs sold on cobra's website?
    second question:
when i bought the car, the previous owner did not told me about any passcode. what should i do?
