I’m watching this video while laying on a bed in the labour ward currently attached to a magnesium drip, a catheter inserted into me while I wait for my steroid injection. I’m 33 weeks and 6 days pregnant with preeclampsia. I came to the hospital for my normal clinic and didn’t expect to be admitted for observation. I can totally relate to your video. I hope my baby can spend a couple more weeks inside me to grow more but if worse comes to worse my baby will have to be delivered tonight. I believe that my baby and I will come out of this both alive and healthy ❤️❤️
Wow i know this video is a few years old. I gave birth to my daughter at 35 weeks. I got to bring her home a few days later. She's now almost a week old and im just amazed at how strong she is.
I gave birth at 27 weeks for preeclampsia. My baby is happy and healthy now. That’s was 5 years ago. I’m currently pregnant with baby #2. I’m 23 weeks and getting very nervous. Been on medication the whole time but I’m getting realllllllllly nervous rn. BP been below 140/90 but is creeping up even with medication. I was told I’ll have to be on bed rest for several months if I ever get pregnant again after my first baby, but the thought of it is getting really scary. So glad everything worked out for you! That magnesium drip is no joke, I was a literal zombie. I lost over 20 pounds in fluids my first pregnancy in the hospital.
Had my son November 18 2022 in the shower on my own 😅 he was 34 weeks gestation and had to stay in nicu for 2 weeks until he grew more . He was 4lbs 1 ounce but healthy ❤. Now 6 months and very active 🙏

I’ve been admittded since 29 weeks for pre-e. I’ll be 32 weeks tomorrow. Im praying we make it to 34 weeks. I know God is watching over us. Mag is not fun, but, im so thankful for good medical care and the provision of the Lord!
Aww I love this! I can relate to this video on so many levels. First of all, I had my twins at 35 weeks when my water broke, and they both went to the NICU. Secondly, I am a labor and delivery and NICU nurse so I understand that side of it, too. Everybody wants a perfect delivery, but the truth is many do not. So happy everything turned out great for you and your beautiful baby girl!
I had my son at 27 weeks because I had eclampsia and HELLP Syndrome where my liver was shutting down. My placenta had torn and he was in low amniotic fluid. He was in the NICU from Sept 28-Dec 5. My daughter was born at 30 weeks. I had protein in my urine and had to have a c-section. I was hospitalized for 8 days because I had fluid on my lungs and was in the ICU for two days. She was in the NICU from August 28 to October 31. Being on the magnesium sucked. I've continued to have high blood pressure and now have Type 2 diabetes. Please keep paying attention to your health because it can continue to trend downwards when you experience this in pregnancy. I was 30 with my first child and 33 with my second child.
Wow I can’t imagine!! I definitely was worried about HELLP syndrome too. After I delivered I was so worried about additional complications, I’ve had lots of follow up blood work & doctors visits to monitor my health!! Thank you for sharing your experience 💕
I had eclampsia and hellp as well!36 weeks. I was jaundice all over eyes and face. Liver was shutting down. I noticed baby wasn’t moving. After they booked me up to monitors , it was showing that baby girls heart rate was rapidly dropping so I had to get an emergency c section they didn’t know I had hellp until after I delivered her . I was in ICU for 4 days and she was in NICU 5 days due to swallowing her meconium. I had to be put on a vent because after I was put under I had respiratory distress. It was insane . I was on mag and it was horrible! I was so out of it and disoriented. I am now pregnant with baby #4 I have had 2 hellp free VBACs after my first hoping to have another 🎉

I'm 63 now, but watching your video brought back memories of the birth of my first born, my daughter. She was 5ĺbs. 19 inches long. And so beautiful. Not just bragging, really. Magnesium was the worst for me and I’m grateful that you went over it. I had postpartum eclampsia and they give it for that as well. It’s terrible! Glad to hear baby girl is well and thriving.

The magnesium was horrible for sure and the catheter was no fun either! But I was mostly worried about delivering my daughter early and how her health would be. Watching this video has made me feel a lot better and has helped my anxiety a bit. Also very scared for the labor part as well and was wondering about how the epidural felt! This video has me in tears 🥹 I just had my babygirl January 17 at 33 weeks because of this very same reason preeclampsia an high blood pressure I had to have a c-section an my baby is currently in the nicu 🥺 she weighed 4 pounds exact.

@@Highmaintenance420_ that's awesome! 🙏💜 With my oldest son my pregnancy was so difficult. Early on being told he had genetic markers for downs and possibly a heart defect. Me having a heart murmur then a doc in urgent care telling me I had a pulmonary embolism at 12 weeks. Went into early labor twice(30 and 31 weeks), but thankfully it was stopped. Towards the end had hypertension and was on meds to stop contractions. He's now nearly 9 years old. Very smart and almost taller than me lol. You would never think he and I went through some tough things.

I am 34week pregnant now feels different. I feel weak and can't stand heat...my work place they have heat on right now in Tennessee. If I make through this month I am stop working. My baby due next month may 26 so ya I need rest

Currently 33 weeks pregnant and 5 days officially was confirmed I have been in preterm labor. Ob and nurse said bed rest till I am 34 weeks which is not far what so ever. We lost our previous pregnancy at 39 weeks and 6d and I’m just freaking out about our baby girl coming early. Contractions have been 4 min apart and cervix have slightly opened. Praying she cooks longer but knowing my test came back positive I can have her before our induction which is October 14th at 37 weeks… any advice?? To mentally prepare yourself for preterm labor? 😅
Oh my goodness I am so sorry I’m just now seeing this!! How are you doing & baby?! I hope you are well. Thankfully my doctor and medical team really mentally prepared me and gave me all the information about NICU, expectations (good and bad) which helped me have some sense of control. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss…I cannot imagine! I hope you had a wonderful birth experience 🤍🤍
It's so nice to look at other people there stories. And to she how happy y all is it just gives people like me hope for good things in life as well. I got married this year March the 5 and we got pregnant like a month later. Like it was on the 1st of April that we found out about the pregnancy and it sounds all so good but it's not all good. Because I am not from usa and I need to get my green card in oder to stay with my partner. It's just scary because the green card process takes so long for all of us that are in the same situation. Unless if you go on a TV show or pay a lot off money to get a lawyer then and only then you have change for things to go faster. It just makes me mad and sad that there are heartless people like that I this world.
My doctor explained that if you make it to 34 weeks with severe pre e, that there is more risk to waiting it out for me then delivering at 34 weeks. And long term with my baby, she’s never missed a milestone (actually hit most early) and she’s 2.5 now :) I trusted my medical team.

If in the hospital she passed all the tests, why did they ended up delivering you at 34 weeks anyways, I'm not getting that.
