Thank you, Pastor Daniel, for your God-given faith and passion to seeking God who provides salvation through Lord Jesus. My friends and I myself are leaning so much about the written Word of God through your understanding and wisdom! May our God use you for His mighty Kingdom!
Holy cow. This is one of the best sermons I’ve heard in my 25 years. I’m a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I love the Bible. Thank you for these powerful lessons. I almost laughed when you said your sermon would be based off 4 verses. Boy how I was wrong.
Thank you very much once again Pastor D ,Your teachings makes us kneel before the Lord & cry for His mercy ,God bless you & May He expand ur territory in Jesus Christ name I pray 🙏 Amen
Amazing service and the end to Samuel book 1. Through my 8/9years as a born again Christian I have learned so much from past reading of the book of Samuel 1&2. However, it still shows that the bible is a living book and piece by piece reveals further truths. I would like to add some of my own views from the Samuel 1 bible study. There is so much to say, but here are some of my thought and highlights. 1. King Saul and Nabal. I think Nabal knew Saul may have entertain Saul. Nabal comments. ' Who is David?' 'Who is the son of Jesse?' Sam 1: 25:10. Saul also used the same saying. 'For as long as the son of Jesse liveth upon the ground, thou shalt not be established non my kingdom.' Samuel 1:20:31. Nabal was a rich man and could have held council with King Saul. Or like politics today voted for Saul? Interest to learn that Nabal was from the House of Caleb. 2. The priest Ahimelech. Why was the priest afraid of meeting David. Sam1 21:1 Than came David to Nob to Ahimelech the priest and Ahimelech was afraid at the meeting of David. Would not the man of God have realised that Saul was hunting down David. Would the priest not have taken council from the Living God Almighty? However, still does not account for what happened under Saul instruction to the priests. 3. Saul and Doeg, an Edomite. Why would Saul hire an Edomite to work along side the children of Israel? My thought Saul clearly was turning into a leader who ruled with fear. 4. David and Achish. (Achish said to David 'Surely as the Lord liveth thou has been upright.') Sam 1: 29:6. Using the saying As the Lord liveth is very much someone who speaks up for the Living God. I believe that in some ways, while David was hanging out with the enemy towards the children of Israel. They would have watched David and his group. Give thanks, say their prayers even talked about their God to Achish. In a way use the time to carry out some evangelist. Pastor Daniel mentioned that during his time marketing? He would take an opportunity to talk about his weekend with the Lord. Thus, David could have used his time while away living around Achish, saying, his prayers and maybe Achish asked David about his God. I know it was a while before David ask of the Lord. Just a thought. Finally, I have to hand it to Saul from been crown King and not walk with the Lord. Its a sorry way for Saul to have ended up. But God in his mercy - the people of Jabesh gilead remembered Saul and buried him. Sam1 31:11,12,13. Thank you so much Pastor Daniel may the Living God bless you and Maranatha church by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Sandie UK London. ref: King James Bible.
This is speculation on the reason Johnathan was killed during the battle with the Philastine. David reverently respected the position of the King even when Saul wasn't fulfilling his responsibilities. It's very probable that David would have followed protocol and not taken the position insisting Johnathan to take the position. This would have slowed down God's will

God knows how to humble the the pride. Under the same type of tree where he commanded the priest to be killed, that's where his bones were buried
If not for grace...😔
including participants open floor for disvcussion
