    Um no .. most were Americans that were sent back to their home state because the government of California couldn’t afford to house and feed the tens of thousands of citizens jobless without homes. Mexico was a non issue then.thus end the lesson.

      This was literally an assignment I did for school like 2 years ago. I don't see the reason for the harsh unnecessary tone :/

      sure, the Dust Bowl Anglo migrants were not entirely welcome in California during the Great Depression. But Mexican Repatriation most definitely happened and the Great Depression did hit Mexican-Americans very hard. What exactly did she say “historically inaccurately ”? I’m not sure what lesson you’re tying to teach her.
