I met omar first back in 07 at the rally point over on highland. his band covered "shanty town" by d. dekker and created an amazingly fun atmosphere, along with thorax hum. hard to do at that place. so sad to know hes gone.
I just found these guys, looked them up and see Omar passed away. R.I.P. Omar, you made great punk music with an amazing message. It was like I went back in time to when punk was real.
This man playing bass was a magnificent person who could see the reality of the world where racism doesn't exist ... because it really doesn't, except as a stupid idea of backward ignorant minded people. Racism isn't based upon a real attribute of the world, but rather is just the illusion of ignorant people who are old and will soon enough be nothing more than another curiosity of history.
Lately I've been hit with the hardcore/gutter punk bug, watching videos by Minor Threat, Misfits, Rancid, Sex Pistols, Doyle, and now these guys. Fast, angry loud, guitar aggression is what I'm craving!!!👿It all works and it rocks!!!!
