OH MY GOSH, I've recently been re-inflicted with D:BH brainrot and I've been watching a bunch of old AMVs, but then I got this recent one recommended to me and I yelled with excitement! :D Glad to see people are still making content for this game, it's so amazing and deserves all the love
This is one of the hardest DBH edits in existence, holy cow. I LOVE the parallels between Markus and Connor's choices. I knew there were a few but seeing them back to back like that actually made the idea of them being the same and having the same struggles hit that much harder. Basically brothers pitted against eachother, heartbreaking but all that more satisfying when Markus helps Connor finally break his programming.
I've always been a huge, huge fan of the parallels between Markus and Connor, but this video made them fresh for me again. I know you left this up to interpretation, but god, watching this, how can people *not* ship these two??? They got that red string of fate thing going on for real. Anyway, amazing video, thank you so much for creating this!!

the ending of this video is a beautiful crime. All jokes aside, the song you chose couldn’t be more perfect for this scenario. I’m in awe at how you used the game choices and incorporated that as part of the edit. Everything flowed very well. This is amazing!
the way you edit the parallels between the two of them is absolutely masterful

I played DBH a few weeks ago and I'm completely obsessed with Connor and Markus. Which consequently made me deeply love your video, it is so beautiful, the parallels between Connor and Markus are incredible, they are a dyad. And your choice of music for this video was another perfection. I've been listening for days. Markus and Connor 🔥❄️

Your transitions are incredibly impactful and cinematic, and the dialogue brings it all together! Thanks for sharing, you're very talented 💖

This was like... wow! Markus is my absolutely favourite character, but I like Connor, and watching his way to become a deviant (or remain a machine) was very pleasant. Anyway, good work ❤
I loved playing the game. It is so beautiful! It is both emotional and adventurous. It is also funny, interesting and exciting. The story is one of my favourites. The characters are so well written. I love Connor as a character because he is strong, smart and has a wonderful story to share. He is really a fighter, just like Markus who l find great, too. Kara and Alice are also nice characters. I loved watching them acting like mother and daughter and wanted to learn more about what would happen to them and about their feelings, thoughts, secrets. I liked them because they were usually good and kind. The edit really suit those two protagonists.
I liked all three characters, so no hate, but I think some people sleep on Markus a little. His storyline and the choices you have to make. The responsabilty you feel on your hands. Being the driving force of the plot. The epic, dark and morally ambiguous moments that nobody else has at such a large scale. I choose Markus aka Robo-Jesus. Even though my favourite of all was Kara.
I fully intend to make more amvs eventually! Life has just been too hectic and busy for me to make videos as much as I used to at least for now. One Piece amvs in particular are extra involved and time consuming, and it's not the only fandom I make amvs for, I enjoy making amvs for other series/movies/games/etc as well. I had a lot of fun making this amv for example, and I'm really happy I actually managed to finish it despite everything going on in my life. It might take time, but I certainly haven't quit making videos, for One Piece or otherwise, I promise!

Never played this game but I’ve always enjoyed watching amvs of it they always hit hard and this one did to good stuff :D
