I fell in love with this young man the first time o met him and did not even know who he was or the song. I was intriduced to him and he was so sweet and humble. I-vi-IV-V seems to be the Pop Soca Road march formula. When you understand the hypnotising impact of these familiar chord progressions and framed melody, combined with evocative lyrics, you'll know why this song has such a huge impact this season! Well played arrangers/producers. You have used the scientific approach here again, Savannah Grass déjà-vu/nostalgia but it worked here for the intent.
