pretty much the same situation as FH5 vs GT7. FM has better environments, GT has better car details. Chase cam is better on FM, cockpit is better on GT.
Big difference is that GT7 is very consistent. In Forza some cars look very nice in both interior and exterior, but big part of a roster looks dated and there is a lot of glitches, inaccurate models, weird reflections, edgy shadows, part of tracks are not modelled accurately etc. Forza gives the impression that the foundation is not very good and it gets boosted a lot with visual effects. I honestly find myself seeing both games at about the same level graphically. I believe if you take FM and decrease brightness with a higher contrast you’ll have a game that looks similar to GT7, this goes both ways. I also think FM might have a more dynamic exterior sound library. The engine sounds seem far deeper and dynamic in FM. But GT7 certainly has better internal sounds. It’s honestly too close for me to form a solid opinion.
I do however believe that the third person camera sounds are far more realistic in FM than they are in GT7. I imagine that the exterior audio for GT7 is just poorly balanced. I can hear a high level of depth and each car has a specific sound but they are very hard to discern overall.
If I'm not mistaken, Forza supports ray tracing, meaning that the reflections and lighting overall are gonna be more accurate, when GT7 doesn't have ray tracing on during the race due to PS5 hardware not being able to handle it with decent frame rate in the game.

What really irritates me about GT7 (and also GT Sport) is the unreal reflection of the sun on the cars' bodywork. It feels like a headlight annoyingly pointed directly into your eyes. It just doesn't get more annoying than the rain effect in Codemasters' F1 games. In general, the FM's lighting effects are more realistic but inferior to those of FMH5. What I find bad about GT series games since GT3 is that you need to keep calibrating the TV's lighting and colors to get a more pleasant view. However, the GT7 needs an update to correct some lighting flaws. FM needs it too, especially with FMH5 being what it is.

Color wise and attractiveness, GT7 is just better. Forza looks washed out. When I go out in real life, colors dont look washed out. Maybe some of you do see colors washed out in real life, but I mean if we have peoplewho cant see colors so we have people who see less vibrancy in color. When people say forza looks washed out == reality. Its like saying you want an ugly game cause its "real". If your brain tells you its washed out, guess what, most likely its washed out cause I never saw anyone complaining how colors in real life are washed out. So dont excuse wached out colors in forza. Add to that the fact that Shadows are way better in GT7. Not mentioning the trees looking off in Forza. Forza shines more in night times and rain because of their rain effect/sense of speed and their reflections in puddle. Other than that, GT7 is better even graphics; in forza, only your car is detailed whille other cars are low poly, check out videos showing that. Also because of the fact that lots of their cars are reused assets from previous games. As for environment it goes both way, sometimes its forza (specially night time+rain) others its GT7.

FORZA RAYTRACING LIGHTING IS FAR SUPERIOR.
No it isn't xbot
Is Forza Motorsport on Xbox series S? looks weird.
Both games are good, Gran Turismo looks better in cockpit and cars.
FORZA ...😃
dificil decision.
Er Nico:
"Me gusta en prácticamente todo más el GT7.
Difícil decisión".
Gran Turismo looks a little better.
Forza Motorsport 2023 makes Gran Tourismo 7 2022 look like its not even there in all honesty
Gt only have like 5 colors, sound is terrible and have lower resolution
Forza has more realistic lighting, basically making GT7 look like… a video game lol. Not saying gt7 looks bad or anything, its just that FM is beyond better. I get this probably wont be the best comparison out there, but just the lighting that we see alone makes a huge difference in realism. I cant wait to play this tomorrow morning. Ill give GT7 one last play through the psvr2 today as a farewell for a while lol.
Unfortunately you and the other ambassadors are going to have a terribly difficult time convincing anyone that Forza looks better. The eyes don’t lie. 😉
@thev3432 I don't even have any of the new consoles but gt7 definitely seems too dark for some reason, Forza definitely looks more life like
@thev3432 it looks miles better lol , just look at the environment , gt7 looks bland and lacks any real density , forza has much better environments
@@thev3432Forza is washed out Because film look this close, it's a rec 709 profile, a bit washed out profile before color grading. Rec 709 is the base profile.
@@prodj.mixapeofficial6431 possibly because in these side by sides, aside from the weather GT7 looks remarkably better. It doesn’t seem right being that Forza is current gen only.
O Ray Tracing do Forza está melhor, mas os reflexos do Sol o GT ganha.
What astonishingly bad driving.
it exactly feels like FM vs FM7.
I always said I felt FMS7 looked better. 8 looks really dead and dry.
Except for the stupid bloom effects in gt7 it is my choice for graphics
Forza is washed out Because film look this close, it's a rec 709 profile, a bit washed out profile before color grading. Rec 709 is the base profile mostly camera use.
Funny how this plays out. FM8 need more saturation and contrast while GT7 needs less. both are worse than driveclub from 2014 imo
FM looks fine on OLED with HDR. Contrast ratio of GT7 might put even OLED's contrast ratio to test.
FORZA parece real.
